    1. I really enjoyed reading this book because it was full of suspense and romance. Valerie, the main characters, was confused about her lifelong friendship with Peter because as they got older she was unaware of how in love with him she had become. When her parents wanted her to marry Harry, she realized that she didn't want to be with Peter as just a friend. She was torn because Harry could offer her a better life than Peter could but Valerie also felt disloyal to her sister, who had recently pass [...]
