    1. It took me a long time to get through this book (as I set it aside for a while) but I have to say that every moment spent actually reading the book was great. It was convicting, interesting, and informative, and I really appreciated getting to learn more about some of my heroines. I loved Sarah Boardman Judson's section, In particular, as I feel she tends to be skipped over a lot in biographies of Adonirom Judson himself.     2. I loved this book. I read it over the past several days at every opportunity. The nineteenth century manner of expression, especially on the part of the narrator, may be off-putting to some people, but I found it to be charming. The three Mrs. Judsons were all exceptional, godly women, and their suffering and endurance in the cause of Christ are inspiring.
