    1. This started out promising: it's been two months since Guy threw Avery out for --he thinks -- sleeping with his partner, but he hasn't been able to forget her. It's been two months since Guy threw Avery out for -- she thinks -- refusing to participate in a menage a trois with his partner, but she hasn't been able to forget him. Now business has brought them back together and what? What on earth happens here? The trouble with starting a book with a Big Misunderstanding plot is that the author ofte [...]

    2. I loved Guy and Avery's story. Both left New York feeling hurt and betrayed by their partner that when they met up months later the wounds were still fresh. Guy believed Avery to be a gold digger who went after his business partner while Avery believes that Guy wanted a three way with his business partner. See the connection the business partner tried to get Avery in bed and when she refused he made up a story to Guy to get him to forget her but when people are destined to be together their path [...]

    3. Given that they only knew each other a short amount of time, what he believed of her was not unreasonable. Usually support the h, Avery Lancaster, but in this instance the author was a bit sneaky when she introduced the H (Guy Jarrod)’s POV first. This opened the reader up more to seeing his side of the story first and understanding where he was coming from. I enjoyed the chemistry between the two and the very sweet birthday surprise that he had planned for her. Avery seemed intent on finding [...]

    4. It was pretty much your typical Harlequin romance. The main character Avery seemed a little wishy washy to me at times but it was an ok quick read.

    5. Guy Jarrod, chef and restaurant owner, broke up with his former lover, Avery Lancaster, because he believed she was sleeping with his business partner while he was cooking her birthday dinner. She gladly took off and said good riddance anyway, since she believed he had sent said business partner to “share her” as an appetizer to a threesome. So both are pretty bitter with one another over a huge misunderstanding. Avery shows up at Jarrod Ridge, the resort that Guy is working at in order to c [...]

    6. Guy had never wanted to see Tessa again. Forty-nine days ago he had wanted to be with her more than anything, but she had betrayed him by seducing his business partner and friend. He was glad to have discovered before it was too late what a lying, two-timing, gold-digger she was.Tessa is devastated to find out that the Guy Jarrod she knows is the man she must work with to fulfill her ill uncle's obligations. Knowing he has no respect for her, and had wanted to share her with his business partner [...]

    7. D2030 Aug10 The Jarrods #2 Guy Jarrod has retuned to Aspen, CO, forced to by his father's will. He's running the restaurants of Jarrod Ridge resort. He discovers that one of the speakers got the Food and Wine Gala, Art Lloyd, has cancelled due to illness. Discovering that Art has sent his niece, Avery Lancaster, to take his place has Guy determined to get her and gold-digging out of the resort. Here she is and close enough to get her out of his system, before he sends her packing. Guy figures ou [...]

    8. Guy Jarrod and Avery Lancaster had a fling in New York until his business partner stepped in the way. Avery thought one thing and Guy another. When Avery takes the place of her Uncle at the Food and Wine Festival they have to work together again. Will they get together and stay together or will he send her packing when he is done with her. This is an interesting book with a sexy scenes and good background. F in Alphabet Soup 2015 challenge.

    9. If you tried it, you might find it worth it. - GuyYou can’t just tell me that. You need to ask me to marry you first. It’s called a proposal.- AveryI’m not taking any chance that you might say no.- GuyAnd I hate to admit it, but you were right when you taunted me about being jealous. I was jealous. But only because you are the only woman it hurt me to lose. I didn’t know what had hit me.- Guy

    10. quite good but boring. i felt they did too much talking and not much happening. it was boring as their misunderstanding was so silly and in only two sentences, they cud clear it, which they obviously did! avery just had to tell guy dat no she did not sleep wid jeff and the problem wud be over! also, too much family involvement got me bored!

    11. This one was a decent read. I do like the premise and have always been a sucker for blackmailed-mistress plot. I found it to be an overall enjoyable read!
