    1. Patrick, Rashod and Marty followed their guide through the forest, guns at the ready. When the explosion ripped the air, they quietly and carefully made their way to the site. What they found caused Rashod to round on their guide in fury; the bodies were shredded, death was instantaneous. But a faint cry could be heard in the distance – what Rashod did next caused an intense feeling of hatred, of utter horror in Marty….Fourteen years later Libby Daniels had returned to Sydney from the States [...]

    2. Couldn't put it down! A fast-paced thriller which had me captivated. I did guess the identity of the "white haired man", but that didn't deter from the overall thrill of the book. Would love to know how this whole scenario would have been explained to the police LOL

    3. 3.5 StarsTwo intriguing stories collide.Libby Daniels runs after overhearing the men standing over her mother's dead body, she'd killed her? Confused, she flees to Brisbane in search of her grandfather. Conor Martin answers his front door after watching Libby's approach through his extensive security cameras. Despite his reservations, he can't help but need to help her. Both have men gunning for them. There's a lot of characters introduced early on and things did get a little confusing. Fast pac [...]

When she overhears that she is suspected of killing her mother, she flees to the only safe haven she knows: the home of her long-deceased grandfather. Disoriented, she arrives at the house, now occupied by Connor Martin, a man with secrets of his own, which, if revealed, could prove deadly for them both. Together they set out to discover the truth about what really happened the night Libby woke [...]

    5. The story is a little confusing at the beginning but, it comes together pretty quick and had me frantically turning the pages to see what happens next. I was at the edge of my seat until the very last page. The white haired man throughout the story kept me guessing his identity, I kind of had him picked but still I wasn't quite sure until it was revealed at the end. Kudos to Ms Curtis for a brilliant mysterious thriller.I'd read a Sandy Curtis thriller quite a while back and loved it. Hard to be [...]
