    1. Reading this made me realise how frustrated I am/would be to live with someone in denial about being depressed. I honestly do not understand depression all that much, but feel that I could not take on that amount of responsibility to put up with someone else's probelms to bring me down. Hmmm, reading this simply frustrated me and made me glad my significant other took the responsibility to get help for his problems and will work with me with his problems.

    2. This book helped me to understand when my partner was feeling depressed and the possible differences there could be between my depression and his depression. Unfortunately this book could not save our relationship (though that's obviously not the fault of the book). Still, I got some useful information from it that helped me to think about the way I talked to and engaged with those around me.
