    1. As a text-book this really rocks! Honestly, I have to say, this is probably the best written textbook I have ever come across. I must admit, I am pretty particular about things, especially the way things are presented and laid out, but this book nails it! My number one pet-peeve these days is that textbooks are written for the ADD crowd - with a million side boxes all vying for attention, if you can muster any.     2. Australia's an amazing and beautiful place. This book helped me to get a bit under its skin which helped me appreciate the land all the more.
