    1. My Rating: 2.5 StarsWould your “true love” ask you to compromise your morals for sex-filled, secret rendezvous while his public façade benefits his wealth, status and corporate goals? Mia Winters faced that dilemma when Roman Thorne walked back into her life two years after they were “torn apart.”Mia has tried to pick up the pieces of her life and move on, she has admirers, friends, but she still pines for the one man who once was her best friend, her lover, her everything, until his fa [...]

    2. Wow, this book surprised me. I did not expect to read a full length romance as fast I did, but I literally could not put this down. Mia and Roman's story is one I have not come across, and I read a LOT of romance. Highly recommended, I will be reading more of Ms Way's books in the future.

    3. Rating *4.5 stars*I'll start with the negative. There is a cliffhanger, which is now leaving me hanging to find out what happens next. There are weak characters, which makes me question just how low can someone go for love. Seriously, I wanted to reach into the book and shake her senseless at times! And Roman? Talk about selfish, egotistical for a leading man. With that said, despite all thatI couldn't put this book down. Despite the frustrations I had with the character's actions, and their flaw [...]

    4. ***Loved the cover, loved the blurb, loved the book!***Frankly, I had some initial difficulty with this story because I knew I was going to be dealing with some difficult characters, and some that weren't going to be easy to like.Mia is in a difficult predicament, and as easy as it was to criticise her, if she walks away from everything, there would be no story.Maggie Way would not have written this book. And I'm so greatful that she did, because Ms Way has certainly crafted a well thought-out st [...]

    5. The blurb for this book really caught my attention and I was super excited to get started as soon as it hit my kindle.Unfortunately it didn't take long for me to realise that my excitement would be short lived. There is no doubt that the idea behind the story is an intriguing one but for me it needed a lot of work on the execution to make it that really enjoyable read I was desperately searching for.I found it clunky in places. I got lost with the time frame in parts.cially when Mia is talking a [...]

    6. The blurb had me stoked to read this book. When it hit my kindle the cover was so beautiful. I dove in head first. I was liking the book a lot until about halfway through. I found a lot of background missing not just for Mia and Roman but for Mia and he BFF as well. I just did not feel the connections grow between any of the characters. Further into the book there was quite a few Fifty Shades of Gray plot lines, including the " if you were mine" comment after being rescued from a drunking night [...]

    7. Reviewed on behalf of 3 Degrees of Fiction.I really don't know what to make of this book. I did enjoy reading it, but there were times that I also didn't. It is a well written book, there is no denying that. Maggie Way is a wonderful author. She has written a book that I think people will be talking about both positively and negatively in equal measure. The characters, Mia and Roman are frustrating. They are trying to rekindle their relationship, but it seems Roman will only give so much. He is [...]

    8. Extremely well-written, heart tugging story. Excited to read more from Maggie Way, and what she'll do next.

    9. I'm baffled by the negative reviews of this book - it must mean Maggie has done her job as an author because I loved the story. Yes it was frustrating at parts, yes I got annoyed at the characters, but ultimately the payoff was sooooo worth it to see the two leads reunited. And I'm so excited there is more to come - I can't wait to read more!

    10. Reviewed on behalf of 3 degrees of fiction. I gave this book a 4 star review because I felt like there was something missing in the storyline and character development. The book itself was well structured and well written. I just feel that more work needed putting in to make the main characters and the supporting characters more three dimensional and relateable. The storyline is good in places but predictable in many ways. Overall I enjoyed the book and will read the second when it is available, [...]
