    1. Listened to as an audiobook, it could have been partially due to the narrator but I was mainly feeling impatient with this book and also annoyed by the actions of the protagonist. I might have enjoyed it more if I were actually reading it.

    2. There are a few collections with this name. I read the original 1896 edition. The first story is interesting enough, and some others were tolerable, but this is nowhere near as good as The King in Yellow. I wrote a more in-depth review on my blog if you're interested.

    3. Read so far:The Maker of Moons--The Bridal Pair--1The Case of Mr. Helmer--The Messenger--The Demoiselle d'Ys--Out of the Depths--A Pleasant Evening--The Purple Emperor--3The Yellow Sign--3

    4. I read this because I think Robert Chambers collection, "The King in Yellow," is a masterpiece. This wasn't nearly as good and didn't do much for me. It is relatively short, a novella really. I read this in a collection years ago that included another Chambers novella.

    5. The title story was good and kinda creepy or at least atmospheric and conceptually interesting. The next 2 stories were bad and way too romantic and interpersonal. And I didn't even finish the rest. Very disappointing considering how good The King in Yellow was.
