    1. As an Prime member, I get one free Kindle Unlimited book a month. After finishing book one of this series, this morning, I immediately grabbed this book as my free one. While, I think I enjoyed the first book slightly more, this book was another enjoyable, action ride. The writing was excellent, and I could picture what was happening, like a vivid movie playing in my mind.I'm not going to go into details about the plot, so I don't spoil anything for people who have not read book one. Anyone who [...]

    2. It's getting better. In this instalment of the Dying Ashes series, Ashley with her friends help aim to solve the disappearance and death of young children. Her friends include Charles a wizard of unknown age but definitely a few personality traits missing, Tamara a moroi vampire who is basically a mortal vampire who feeds off emotions and two coyote changlings Rain and Jason. Also mama Flora a lower level of magic to Charles but of equal importance. The missing children are being abducted by a spe [...]

    3. Two books of awesomeness!Great reading and you can’t help but love the deteriorating young Stragogi vampire who is always drawn to others trouble and reappear as the hero just to be thrown into another menacing scenario. Can’t wait to read how they figure out how to repair Ashes body which takes away from your average quick healing para-normal vampire. I know duck tape is handy for a lot of quick fixes, but this story takes it to another level. Enjoy.

    4. The series that keeps on giving. ❤❤❤ Everything I loved about the first book is well-maintained and expanded on. And I love the world building so freaking much. Highly recommended if you enjoyed the first book. Gah. Can't wait to dive into the next one.

    5. Often sequels are OK, sometimes they are much better than just OK.This one is great. And promises more to come.Recommended.

    6. Good storyI was intrigued reading the first book to see how the story was continued in the next few books but I can say I really enjoyed reading this one. I like the premise and characters.

    7. This book is just as strong as the first, but after reading both back to back, a couple of annoying things popped out. They didn't lessen my enjoyment much, but they might get tiresome by the next book.Good things first. Ashley is still a wonderful, well-rounded character with a story worth following. She grows, and continues to change from book to book. She discovers new things about herself and the world around her. I don't see this series becoming stale any time soon.I still love how Ashley's [...]

    8. Fantastic sequel.Loved every minute. Great action amd interestong mystery. Loved the shifters. Liked how Ash got a new ability. I would love to see something like noghtlord series where the more she eats the more blood is attracted to her or something. Eager for book3
