    1. Good. Almost great. Oh yeah, I liked it!To tell you the truth, during the first few chapters, I was a little hesitant as to whether I should put this book down or not. I struggled with the story and the character of Talaith herself through the first half of the book, so much so that I felt the urge to DNF. But for some unknown reason, I decided to at least delve a little bit further into the story and see if the second half would make up for the first one. Thankfully, the outcome didn’t disapp [...]

    2. I don't know. I just don't know.At first, during the initial two chapters, I thought "Wow! This is much better than the last one!" and then it just went the same direction. They argued constantly. Only this time it was treated as "positive" because arguing turned them on. Well, I found it to be tedious. This author has a problem with heroines. They're all maniacs. They have hair-trigger tempers and take their anger out -- violently -- on their mates. That doesn't make them strong female character [...]

    3. When I saw the cover for this book, I thought I was going to get a sexy dragon shifter who looked like Alexander Skarsgard.Instead, the hot dragon shifter named Briec was the most boring, dull, flat, annoying male lead ever. Here are a few Kanye gifs to best describe him:The female named Talaith was actually worse. What an annoying bitch. I hated her. I couldn't stand her personality and she was boring.First of all, nothing happens in the first 30% of the book, pretty much. Briec finds her (INST [...]

    4. Not as good as the first one because I found both of the MCs annoying more than cute or funny. But, there was still a lot of funny in the book. Why they can't be together?"Why not?""Well, first off I'm bound to another.""Ah, yes. To the man who tried to kill youLet's seewhat were his exact words again? Ah, yes. 'Kill the witch. Burn the witch.' Didn't he hand a child a rather large stone?"That's right. Our dragon hero dude saves her from hanging and being burnt at the stake - by her husband no le [...]

    5. Once again this author has had me laughing so hard I'm practically rolling on the floor. The constant hilarity, the one liners, and the sheer craziness of this family of dragons cracks me up! The over the top zaniness of the dragons and their antics is a nice change of pace from my regular reading. Every once in a while I just want to sit down with a book that is meant to be pure entertainment. I want to howl with laughter and torture my husband by reading scenes to him. This series fits the bil [...]

    6. 3.5 starsOh my God. All the characters behave like children xD I really enjoyed this, I thought there's maybe a little, just a teeny tiny bit too much sex for my liking and I got a little tired about the constant, non-stopping sibling fighting. Also I think the book could have been a little shorter, there was a lot of stuff that just took too long. But like I said, other than that, I really enjoyed it. Some parts made really laugh out loud in the middle of the night, thank God the boyfriend's a [...]

    7. Buddy read with AlyTalaith is having a pretty rough day, she was dragged from her bed in the middle of the night by a mob of angry villagers and now she's about to burn on a pyre because they think she's a witch. As if that wasn't bad enough the person who comes to her rescue isn't her husband (he was too busy egging on the crowd) but a huge dragon who she is pretty sure intends to eat her for a snack later. Talaith isn't about to go down without a fight though and Briec may have caught more tha [...]

    8. 2nd read: 20 March 2015Buddy read with SarahIf I could, I would quote the whole book1st read: 31 Jan-3 Feb 2012It's official! I love this series :)) It makes me laugh so hard!Quotes:“How do you live with yourself, Lord Arrogant?”In between using the tip of his tongue to toy with her hard nipples, he answered, “Very easily, Lady Difficult. I find myself quite charming.”“Be grateful for that blood debt, dragon, because I truly believe I would have killed you long ago.”“Now you sound [...]

    9. "About a Dragon" is the story of Briec and Talaith. When Breic rescues the "witch Talaith from being singed by her husband and villagers, he only expects to be paid back in bed romps and get her moving on. However one thing leads to another; and they both embark on a passion filled love journey. This book was as funny as it was awesome. Notably,-the banter between the h and H. It goes on and on and on, especially since the h is a chatterbox, but oh so fun to read-the antics between the dragon brot [...]

    10. Synopsis:For Nolwenn witch Talaith, a bad day begins with being dragged from bed by an angry mob intent on her crispy end and culminates in rescue by-wait for it-a silver-maned dragon. Existence as a hated outcast is nothing new for a woman with such powerful secrets. The dragon, though? A tad unusual. This one has a human form to die for, and knows it. According to dragon law, Talaith is now his property, for pleasure or otherwise. But if Lord Arrogance thinks she's the kind of damsel to acquie [...]

    11. G.A. Aiken's Dragon Kin series is both funny and sexy; two things that are actually very hard to do well together! These first two books are actually reprints of her original Samhain Publishing books. I had read the originals in e-book format, but was thrilled when I found out they were releasing them in mass market paperback so I could add them to my print library! (Cause I obviously don't already have enough books!) Laurenston's humor is sardonic and wittyd rather earthy and gritty too, so if [...]

    12. Briec the Mighty’s ego knows no bounds. He does whatever he wants , whenever he wants and no one can tell him otherwise. However, Nolwenn witch Talaith is the only one who can put the arrogant dragon in his place. When she is roused from her sleep and taken to be burned by an angry town determined to kill her for being a witch, Talaith gets a little pissed off. Especially when one of the angry members is her useless husband. But before Talaith gets burned to a crisp, a dragon saves her and sudd [...]

    14. Briec the Mighty would never admit it, not even to himself, but he is curious about his brothers mating to a human. As a dragon shifter and royalty, he doesn't need to dabble with a mere human but he finds himself intrigued by town pariah Taliath. Magick swirls around her, but from what he can tell she is without any powers.Nolwenn Witch Talaith is biding time until she is called upon from the goddess. The last sixteen years she has been punished, but when Briec takes her. Briec has no idea abou [...]

    16. Re-readStill continuing my Dragon Kin binge re-read in order to refresh my memory. I read About a Dragon, exactly 4 years before. My, how time flies so fast!!I still like it, but I realize that Anwyll and Fearghus's story is still the best, because maybe, there's not many subplot at first. So I lower the rating to 4,5 stars (just 0,5 stars, lol!!) But, don't get me wrong, I still love reading about Briec and Talaith :D. My pet peeves just, I feel a little bit annoyed by Talaith's daughter, Iseab [...]

    17. I got five chapters into this and had to give up. I thought the premise sounded interesting and I liked the previous book in the series well enough. But this book felt sort of boring to me. The hero is Briec, a shape-shifting silver dragon who's taken the idea in his head to get a female. He comes upon Talaith, a mysterious woman in a village that thinks she's a witch. She captures Briec's fancy and so he kidnaps her one night when her village is trying to hang her for witchcraft. Briec thinks h [...]

Bunu tatlı,nazik mavi ejdere nasıl yapabilir , little bitch.

    19. Nolwenn cadısı Talaith öldürülmesine ramak kala Kudretli Briec tarafında kurtarılıyor ve hayatı tam bu noktada değişmeye başlıyor. Briec ise Talaith'i gördüğü in andan beri onun olacağını biliyordu. Talaith'i inadı, huysuzluğu ve cadılığı ile Briec'in kibri ikilinin sürekli tartışmasına neden olurken biz okuyuculara da tam seyirlik bir şölen sunuyordu. Yani onların o hallerini okumak çok keyifliydi. Briec'in Talaith'i sahiplenmesi ve onun için her şeyi yapmaya [...]

    20. Light and fluffy, with quite a bit of cursing and bloody moments, this is the story of Briec the Mighty dragon and Talaith, a witch he saves from hanging. To Briec's surprise, Talaith does not seem suitably grateful for his intervention that is followed by his edict that she is now his, and objects to being hidden away at his lair. Her fear of him is soon a thing of the past, and she is constantly talking back to him, irritating and arousing him in equal measures.Talaith, who has a job she must f [...]

    21. Yay!yay!yay! And here i thought it couldn't do better it was better than better, it was everything!Certainly this series is my favorite book candy so far, everything's just funny, sexy, and badass. And best thing is my previous questions was answered in this book And oh! how i love this Dragon Family! they just keep on getting bigger, more characters coming and i never thought having this many characters could be as entertaining, well for this series anyway!;DBriec was just adorable, he takes ever [...]

    22. Hot, hysterical and heartwarming pretty much sums of this second installment in the Dragon Kin series. This dysfunctional dragon family is growing in size as the brothers and sisters find their mates, and some new characters are introduced. The book’s main focus is on Briec and Talaith, but you get plenty of time with all the characters, old and new. That’s what makes it so much fun, everyone is involved. The H and h are in constant disagreement. Initially the arguments are based on the anno [...]

    26. About a Dragon by G.A. Aiken is the second book in one of my all-time favorite dragon series: the Dragon Kin. G.A. Aiken brings us Briec the Mighty whose arrogance knows no bounds! I’m surprised that there is room for more than himself and his ego within any city limits, he’s that bad. You would think a character with an ego a mile wide would be annoying, but no, G.I. Aiken knew exactly how to pull this one off. She gave him a mate that can stand up to him and put him in his place. So his ar [...]

    27. Just ok, nothing special. I had problems with plot developmentORY BRIEF:Talaith is a Nolwenn Witch. The goddess Arzhela took away most of her powers and forced her to marry an undesirable human and live in a village for sixteen years. The villagers attempt to kill Talaith because she’s a witch. Shape-shifting dragon Briec sees this and rescues her. He wants to keep her as his lover until he tires of her. For much of the book she insults him and argues with him. He enjoys fighting with her. He [...]

    29. Dec 2013 Re-read. Still awesome! This book was about Beric the Mighty/Arrogant and Talaith. Beric would like to experience some of the happiness his brother Fearghus has found with the human Annwyl and decides to take a human for himself. He is convinced that saving the witch Talaith from being hung in the town square means he owns her…until he’s though with her anyway. Beric can’t seem to understand, however, why the little witch won’t submit to him. Unlike the first book, the relationsh [...]
