    1. Review: SEVENTH WARD by Patrick LoganA wildly imaginative second installment in a wildly imaginative series, SEVENTH WARD showcases some really scary characters, both alive and not, and monstrous. Following the horrific events of SHALLOW GRAVES, the trio are "summoned" to clear the seventh ward of isolated, abandoned, Pinedale Hospital, of its specters. Not that easy. Very dangerous, very terrifying, a knockout ending.

    2. The story line was good, not really creepy or scary though. But one thing really irritated me about this book compared to his first one - the near constant reminder of the size of the nurse. Seriously, in pretty much every scene she appears in, we're reminded that she's "fat", "meaty", "as wide as she is tall"And it's pitched as being a bad thing, like she's the way she is because she's large. (view spoiler)[Basically the message is that she's evil, therefore we're not allowed to forget she's fa [...]

    3. This was a disturbingly chilling horror and I had a great time reading it. As usual the author has a very vivid writing style and I do love the detail that makes the story come to life. Robert, Shelley, and Cal, go to the seventh ward (psychiatric) of a closed up clinic to battle dead and living forces from within. I was totally engrossed in the story and wondering what was going to happen next. Sometimes I found myself wanting to speak for Dr. Mansfield since he always seemed to say the wrong t [...]

    4. Not as good as the firstI must be honest and say I didn't read it all the way through, only about 3/4. Too much unnecessary gore and not enough paranormal. The word "quiddity" popped up on every other page until I wanted to scream and decided enough was enough! Too many GOOD books out there.

    5. Spooky - Great Story - But SpookyPatrick pens another great yarn sure to get the reader's hair to stand on end! You might want to read this book while it still light out, after dark Well, y'all take your chances!! Very good read!

    6. CreepyThoroughly enjoyed this one much more than the first. Disappointed at the continuous mentioning of Justine's size. Want to know more about The Marrow and The Goat. Hoping for some romance between Robert and Shelley.

    7. Hooked since book 1!So Logan is a fantastic writer of the creepy kind. I will not wait to read his books ever again.

    8. Carefully wovenThe storyline is great, the ending is as confusing for the reader as the main character. Truly a dark and twisted ride.

    9. Super!!Great follow up!!! Flows like a dream! I really enjoyed this book, so much so, I'm off to read the next one TTFN 😊

    10. UnbelievableI am continuing the series. I can't stop. A true page Turner. I can't say enough about this authors work.

    11. I enjoy these books but I'm not liking the tie in aspect of this series. The underlying story is drab. I would rather just have the story flow instead of the marrow story interjecting. That's not going to stop me from finishing the series just makes it a tab less enjoyable.

    12. Better Than Book 1While Shallow Graves (Book 1) was somewhat predictable, The Seventh Ward grabbed my interest and held it until the very end. Even the Frankenstein-like creature had an altogether different purpose and Robert's return to The Marrow brought a new twist. I can't wait to read book 3.

    13. Wow these books just keep getting better and better. Blew me away. Twisted, crazy, scary books I have to keep reading because not to read them keeps me up at night kind of scary good you just can't put down. Love it. If there was a movie made it just would be too dam scary to watch alone or just could not do these books justice. I have never been this excited to read such horrifyingly scary stuff.

    14. Crazy??It really keeps you wondering!!Do you really want to go to the abandoned hospital?? What lurks in the dark??

    15. I really enjoyed this book up until about 90% and then it fell flat like the author didn't have a clear plan on where to go from here and needed to just end the book. I am looking forward to reading the next books in the series because I'm a sucker for serial books. And it was still great for 90%, so the next one could be the best one!! Patrick, please have your editors actually read your books to pick up the typos left behind after spell check. Not as many this time, but still maybe 5 or 6 inci [...]

    16. Creepy!I like this series more with each bookI came across this author in the "recommended for you" area of amazon (amazon has yet to be wrong on a recommendation -for me, at least)! I like the characters, the creepy locations, and the unanswered questions. The questions about Leland Black, the Marrow, Amy, and especially Sean are all addictive & frustratingly still remain unanswered in book 2if anything, even more doors have opened leading to even more questions. I recommend this series &am [...]

    17. Wowwwwwwww!!! I am absolutely in love with this series and cannot wait to start the 3rd installment Seaforth Prison. I really like the concept of transplant recipients taking on characteristics of their donors. Really cool concept! And now that a major bomb was dropped at the end of this bookPatrick totally left me wanting to find out more.

    18. Crazy good!!Oooh!! This is one hell of an amazing ghost story! There are some graphic scenes that some might not be able to stomach, but if you can get past it you'll be shocked by the reveal at the very end!! Totally worth the read!!

    19. Rate the book!I really enjoyed the first and second book. Is there some significance in all of the titles starting with an "s".

    20. A really enjoyable read. I'm liking these characters the most of any Patrick Logan Series. Can't wait to read the next installment
