    1. Hidden Design, The Prophecy was a real surprise packet. I went into this novel, not knowing anything about the premise and I deliberately kept away from reading anything about it. What I discovered was a highly original and ambitious plot which was absorbing. It begins as a conventional thriller with an FBI investigator calling upon the psychic abilities of interior designer Mackenzie Daneen in order to probe the motivations of a potential suspect in a kidnapping case. It becomes apparent that D [...]

    2. HIDDEN DESIGN: THE PROPHECYReview by Larry IvkovichHidden Design: The Prophecy can best be described as an Erotic Urban Fantasy Thriller. That seems like a lot to take in but Tia Tormen and C.K. Stone combine all those diverse elements into a solid, entertaining, and sometimes chilling novel of psychic power, magic, sex, murder, mystery, and police procedural.Living and working in New York City, Mackenzie (Mikki) Daneen is an interior designer with a special “flair” for being attuned to her [...]

    3. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review (for the Read it and Reap program in Shut Up and Read group). So where do I begin?? This isn't easy. My review won't be very positive. I actually had to force myself keeping reading in order to be able to write a just review. To say it didn't meet my expectations would be an understatement. I really wasn't expecting sex magic. At least, not this way. I usually don't mind erotica, sex magic and a twirl of kinky. After all, I'm a [...]

    4. First, and it's seen in the first chapter, this is definitely an adult content book. We get different sex scenes, f/m, f/f, f/f/m. This book is about sex magic. This in one magic I usually struggle with in books. Most of the time I find it off putting as the connection of sex and characters doesn't seem to connect for me, BUT here, the sex scenes (being rather descriptive) are part of the plot. Mikki has found that her psychic ability is amped up when involved in intimate moments with others. Sh [...]

    5. The book is young adult. And genre: fantasy, thrillerIt is story revolve around urban sex, FBI, witches, psychic abilities, kidnapping. As fantasy, story unfolds paranormal world of gifted people i.e. Adveni with normal people i.e. stolidi where main character is supposed psychics work as consultant to FBI while doing full time job as interior designer but twist of story is psychic ability work best with most intimate relation with client. So, our psychic goes around every corner to have sex for [...]

    6. Wow. What a story. Magic, mystery, murder, all packed in a hot package. I really enjoyed this and the only reason it took so long to read is that I had it on my phone. The storyline was excellent and original. The writing was well done, drawing the reader in. Definitely recommended.

    7. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review and in light of that I'm going to keep this as brief and as constructive as possible. I gave up just over halfway through, because it wouldn't be fair to the author (or myself) to force myself to wade through a story that makes me want to scream and bash my head against a wall repeatedly. But I promise I'm going to try to be nice here. This is in no way my kind of novel. I enjoy fantasy, but this is more erotica than anything else. U [...]

    8. Sex sells.Everyone knows that. Marketing professionals especially know that. But does the inclusion of sex necessarily make something better? Erotica has become more mainstream in popular fiction within the past few years and can make any genre book more appealing to the right audience. In some cases, however, the sexual element can detract from what would otherwise be a great story.Unfortunately, I think that Hidden Design: the Prophecy, marketed as an erotica dark fantasy, is a perfect example [...]

    9. Hidden Design, the Prophecy is about an interior designer who finds out exactly what her customers want in a 'slightly' unorthodox manner. She gets called by her friend, Paul, who works at the FBI, to see if she can help with a missing child. This unlocks the door to more than she can possibly realise, and she tumbles headfirst into the rabbit hole. This story is well written, with a smooth and flowing pace that builds up nicely to the climatic ending. With a series of shocks and twists to go th [...]

    10. Hidden Design: the Prophecy is a fun, often exciting romp through a new and compelling world. Tormen and Stone have created an engaging and highly believable world with the start of their Hidden Design series. In the style of a classic coming of age tale, main character, psychic and interior designer Mikki Daneen is a sympathetic heroine, exploring her own identity while, at the same time, starting to learn about the hidden world of the Adveni, and their relationship with the human Stolidi. It [...]

    11. Mikki is called in to consult on a kidnapping case by the FBI. She has an unusual way to read people and they want her to read a suspect in the kidnapping. Thus begins a journey to a world Mikki knew nothing of but of which she was a vital part.I liked this story. There's a little bit of everything--paranormal, romance, sex, monsters, evil, action, adventure. It was quite a ride. The world building is very good. It slowed the story down a bit in the beginning as I was trying to make sense of som [...]

    12. Hidden Design The Prophecy draws you in from the very first chapter. Each chapter weaves an enticing story that makes you eager to start the next one. Each character is so likeable that you quickly become attached to them. The erotic moments are tasteful enough that you don't feel uncomfortable reading them yet titillating enough that you get a warm tingly feeling. The ending was satisfying yet left me desperately craving the next book. Tia Tormen and CK Stone have created a winner and have earn [...]

    13. I won this book in a Facebook giveaway. I didn't finish this book.I struggled to get into the story. The beginning I felt like maybe I'd missed a few chapters then it went into "proper" story mode. I felt the idea that a psychic or someone who is gifted as Mikki is, needs to use sex to get better visions a bit off the mark. Mikki just used sex to get what she needed and it got boring. Fast. Sorry but it just wasn't for me.
