    1. Review copySebastian Bendix is a Los Angeles based writer and musician, as well as host of a popular midnight horror film series, Friday Night Frights at the Cinefamily. Her first assignment is at "The Old Nick", an abandoned movie theater in downtown Los Angeles. Her duties were to catalog a collection of old m [...]

    2. Belongs in the realm of folklore and horror movies (I kept expecting to hear a Goblin score). Blessedly simple plot, hard to put down once you start reading it. Back in the glorious, mythical days of pulp magazines, one of the horror ones would have run this novella.

    3. This was a fun ,fast 'read'!The storyline of an old theater w/a forbidden movie is just what I like. The narrator did a fine job with the material.

    4. This was a highly entertaining novelette with an intriguing and unique premise. Film buffs will get a kick out of the Golden Age theater setting and classic film references. I also liked the ambiguity of the ending. I could have done without the blog material, though, as it didn't quite gel with the tone of the main narrative. Still, I recommend this quick read wholeheartedly. 4 stars!
