    1. Good Housekeeping Doctors' Secrets is a book that offers advice on diet, weight-loss, fitness, illness, supplements, and alternative medicine to name a few. I enjoyed parts of the book including the short quizzes offered before specific chapters and the chapter on sleep and energy. I thought the best chapter was "Mental Help and Happiness" which advises on managing stress. What I don't like is that the book offers barely any information on alternative medicine and contains plenty of controversia [...]

    2. This book had nothing mind blowing in it. Lots of good common sense advice that you probably already know, but it's all in one place. A very easy read.

    3. The majority of the advice involves not so secret pointers: exercise, eat healthy foods, get enough sleep, wear sunscreen, remain social, don't eat after 7:00 pm. The only secret I noted was one page near the end which advised 1)wear duct tape daily for two months and exfoliate the dead skin once a week to remove warts 2)cover a fungus-riddled toenail with vapor rub so that the toenail will eventually turns black, falls off and is replaced by a fungus free toenail 3)treat eczema areas with wet f [...]

    4. This book is easy to read and non-technical. The suggestions are practical, and if not new, reinforces what is already known. I want to remember several things. To cancel head pain, press both thumbs underneath the middle of the eyebrow, as well as pinch to skin between the thumb ad forefinger. Hugs are relaxing, as well as listening to favorite music. Exercise is the main fighter of dementia. Retinol reverses sun damage. Even half a cup of blueberries several days a week will help memory.

    5. Lots of good health advise. Each section started with a quiz, then information was presented in an easy-to-digest way, then answers to the quiz were given. Each section was then wrapped up with a summary. I especially liked the section on things to do/not do to live to 100.All the most important health tips ended up being repeated (lose weight showed up in fighting disease, relieving pain, living to 100, etc.).
