    1. I like Ms. Dunn's Daisy Dalrymple series and thought this might be along the same lines. Wrong. It is the story of a Jodi, a young modern woman, who is transported back to the year 1816. This was an OK story but I am not a big fan of romances and this was more of a romance than a historical novel. Not my cup of tea but not a bad read all in all.

    2. Well, I suppose there had to be one book by Carola Dunn I didn't like And it is the 30th one. I found the heroine Jodie highly annoying. Her love interest Giles is barely in the book but I can't imagine why he's interested in her. I liked Roland and Charlotte, and Charles and Emily much more.

    3. This was actually pretty silly--a Regency/time travel mix that didn't mix so well. (Disappointing, actually, since Dunn is a decent author).
