    1. A very enjoyable read, it’s all in here in this coming of age story about a 13 year old boy, his buddies, girls, family, community, an orphaned hoodlum that means well but carries his own dark secrets, some other hoodlums, adolescent behavior, lots of colorful characters, found love, a looming foreign war, life and death, and a 1955 Black Chevy that changed everything for a whole lot of people, especially young Paul.

    2. "The Summer of the Black Chevy" is a heartwarming tale of a teenage boy becoming a man in Deer Lodge Montana. Kevin has a smooth, personable style that is very satisfying. The story is informative, fun and a great read! Joyce Knight

    3. A place called MontanaMr. Giles hits all the right notes. Having grown up in East Helena; this wonderful coming of age story is particularly poignant. Thank you, Kevin for the memories, laughter and even the tears.
