    1. A Most Inconvenient Wish is the third book in the 'A Lady's Wish' series by Eileen Richards. It can be read as a stand alone book, but having read the first in the series, but not the second, I could tell that I had missed out by not reading the second sister's love story. I will remedy that soon though because I just bought the second book! This is Sophia Townsend's story. Her sisters have both found happiness with marriage and put it down to making a wish at the fairy steps. If you climb them w [...]

    2. I received an eARC, from NetGalley and the publisher, in exchange for an honest review. This is the 3rd book in the 'A Lady's Wish' series. You CAN read this as a standalone book, but the others are so great I'd read them too. We have seen the heroine, Sophia Townsend, in the first two books of the series. We've watched her grow somewhat in her two sister's books, but in this book she is still cold, set on propriety at all costs and bound and determined to marry a title because she's always thoug [...]

    3. This is the first book I've read by this author and sometimes found it a little confusing. Maybe if I had read the first 2 in this series, I would know who Lady Danford is. She appears in this book, but I don't know if she's an elderly relative or friend. I did figure out the sisters and their husbands. I like the idea of the fairy steps and wishes. The heroine, Sophia, was not always likeable but lost her mother at a young age and her father and brother were not kind to her and her sisters. The [...]

    4. Ian sure likes to take action, “I am going to kiss you senseless.” His mouth took hers before she could say anything else." I have to applaud Ian for his self restraint, “you’re very warm. A veritable furnace, Ian. How is that possible?” She snuggled closer, wiggling her hips against his groin. He grasped her hips to still them. This was going to be a great deal more difficult than he’d thought." I liked this book, I loved Ian.

    5. With the conclusion of her Lady's Wish Trilogy Eileen Richards leaves a strong foundation to build her name on. Memorable characters, delightful plots and great writing make this series notable. In her final work, A Most Inconvenient Wish, Ms. Richards takes traditional regency and makes it appealing to a twenty first century audience. Ian McDonald is everything you could hope for in a hero and everyone but his hearts desire, Sophia, recognizes they are meant to be. With head butting, scheming a [...]

    6. The two main women in this story leave much to be desired. The heroine, Sophia, is petty, egotistical and vain. She admits to being all these things, and her self-awareness only makes her mildly more tolerable. Catherine, the lead antagonist, is just plain evil. Ian, the hero is mostly well intentioned and seems to have genuine affection for Sophia. As a whole, the story was okay, but it's hard for me to award more than three stars when I spent the entirety of the book hoping I can find something [...]

    7. Sophia has seen her sisters wed and decides to make a wishon the Fairie steps for her true love. Ian arrives to help her but he is not destined to be her love or is he. Delightful story as these two find their way together. Enjoyed seeing the other family members again. Definitely would recommend this author.Ebook from netgalley and publishers with thanks.

    8. It's been five years and two kids since elder sister Anne married Nathaniel Matthews (An Unexpected Wish, A Lady's Wish Book One) and three years since younger sister Juliet married Nathaniel's little brother Tony, (An Honorable Wish, A Lady's Wish Book Two), now the beauty of the family, Sophia Townsend, decides to climb to the top of the Fairy Steps and make her marriage wish. Unfortunately, the pesky Scott, Ian McDonald, who a partnered with her brothers-in-law, follows her up to the top, and [...]

    9. Sophia Townsend, age 26, is climbing the Fairy Steps to make a wish in hopes of finding a husband. It is said that if a young, unmarried lady is able to climb the stairs to the top, the fairies will grant them a wish. After 4 seasons in London where she was quite popular, she still has had no proposals. In addition, society has labeled her cold and aloof. Ian McDonald appears on the scene to assist Sophia on the rickety stairs of the Fairy Steps, chastising her for being so foolish to climb them [...]

    10. Light read that may be a little frustrating at the start but once it gets going well worth the read. I had a little problem keeping in the story at the start of the book, however once it got going it became a read to continue with. I consider this type of read a light read. Easy to read. The characters are nice and the plot line with twists are interesting. I thought maybe a little more of action would of been nice and some more depths in the characters but all in all I enjoyed the read. I like [...]

    11. I enjoyed reading this romance story. The two main characters, Sophia and Ian, were interesting and their scenes together in the book were my favorite parts. I liked how the book started with Sophia making a wish on the fairy steps, it was a cute way to meet the characters and start the story. The one thing that I did not like about the book was the character who was the villain of the story, Catherine, who comes to visit Sophia's home with her brother. I think the author went too far with making [...]
