    1. Full review to come once I've completed my assignment but all I can say is Wow! Amazing! Highly recommend to lovers of paranormal romance, fantasy and witches.

    2. A teenager has so much to worry about with school, dances, boys and a future. What happens when everything you have known is ripped away, your family, your ability to walk, to even care for yourself and you are miles away from all of your friends? Matilda believes she is to blame for the death of her whole family, and her self-loathing is only a part of what is beginning to haunt her. There is also something that is calling her from the forest, something that seems to know her name, and know wha [...]

    3. Eli has delivered yet another emotional and beautiful story. She casts a spell over her readers, urging them to read on, to explore their emotions and what-if scenarios that we would rather keep locked in a dusty trunk. Eli crafted Tilda (I love her name, by the way) with such care that it is impossible not to respond to her with empathy and affection. She is a lovely character with a range of emotions from remorse and sorrow to joy and elation.Hoyt is another fantastic character. I love his pas [...]

    4. Eli Constant is one my favorite indie authors. There are lots of reasons why I love her books. Eli’s writing is mature, well-balanced, and diverse. Her characters have a story that makes them real; they make me fall in love with them. Sleeping in the Forest of Shadows is a great example of Eli’s superb writing talent. This book’s different from the other books by Eli, but it’s great in its own way. IMHO, writing about a wheelchair-bound character is a challenge for any writer, but Eli co [...]

    5. Life happened and then everything vanished 4.5 starsSERIOUSLY I AM SO MAD RIGHT NOW. At first I wasn't really sure what was going on. And then boooom, everything happened so far, I was blown away. Full review to come soon.

    6. An Erie Tale I enjoyed listening to Sleeping in the Forest. An Erie tale that kept me guessing. Matilda's story was sad and left me with a melancholy feeling. I can't wait to see what happens in book 2.I would recommend this book to YA Readers.

    7. Sleeping in the Forest of ShadowsThe story started out a bit slow but the concept was interesting enough to keep me reading. There are some interesting plot twists and I enjoyed the writing and characters. The story got really interesting at the end. Enough so that I look forward to continuing the series. The main character is suffering from PTSD and survivor guilt so I want to throw a trigger warning out there. All and all an enjoyable read and I would recommend it.

    8. I can only imagine how hard it must be to lose one's family all at once. To add losing the ability to walk and care for yourself properly is devastating. I liked the realism in which Tilda is presented. I loved the story behind it all. Great start to the series, and I can't wait for the next.
