    1. 3.5, rounded up. This was a fun 2nd installment to what seems to be shaping up to be a nice series about vamps and their human mates. We met Radney in the first book (he, who scared the crap out of Augustin), and in this book, we learn a bit more about why he's so grumpy and feels so out of place. You see, Radney's early years as a vampire were not much fun for him. And when I say "not much fun", I actually mean quite horrific. His Sire was a cruel bastard, and Radney's memories of that time, his [...]

    2. If you like Crackfic (which I do) you’re gonna love this book. What I consider Crackfic is a story which takes a ridiculous premise as its starting point. Technically it may or may not be humorous but the Crackfic stories I enjoy the most are most definitely funny. And this one made me laugh several times out loud.Radney is a special kind of vampire. He’s gullible, doesn’t know what’s going on half the time, and considers himself the Bat God (I’m not going to explain what that is becau [...]

    3. Tiring of being the oddball, Radney decides to quit letting the past rule his life but in doing so makes another mistake by almost harming the human he has been sent to keep an on in this captivating paranormal romance. The story is short but captivating and provides a few chuckles along with excitement as Bailey Bradford’s misfit coven of vampires continue to cause a bit of chaos and I can’t wait to read the next one. 4. I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.I know this is only the second book but I am so loving this series. After Tony and Augustin's unconventional romance in My Life Without Garlic I was excited to see what Ms. Bradford had in store for Claude's coven. Don't Stake My Life on It does not disappoint as Radney sets out to prove that he's not the loser or psychotic vampire his stunt with Augustin would indicate. And if along the way he happens to meet someone that c [...]

    5. 4.5 Stars Radney is, literally, the most adorable vampire I've ever met. Granted, I mean that in a, bumbling, goofy, not so bright kind of way, but there's really something about him. He was turned hundreds of years ago, and had he not been, he probably would've died a virgin. Radney has a bad case of sticking his foot in his mouth, or his whole leg, to be honest. He doesn't like to bite humans for food, so he lives off of bagged blood, but he forgets to eat, and then he goes into blood lusts an [...]

    6. Rating 4.5Radney is having a major pity party; he can’t help it if he has a few flaws. At least he has started to work on improving his personality. The answer to Radney’s dilemma is Andrew Meyers, a caring human who did not believe vampires existed until he met Radney.Don’t Stake My Life on It is the second book in The Vamp for Me series. The plot is an amusing story of vampire misfits. The small coven is located on the outskirts of Vegas. The coven leader established a dating site, which [...]

    7. I really thought Radney was a dick when he was introduced in the first book of the series. But honestly he is just misunderstood. And I totally love him. He is trying to find a place for himself in his coven which is not easy for him. He holds himself back. I can’t really say I blame him after the way he was brought into the vampire life.Really from start to finish this book had be mostly laughing my ass off or fanning myself. The one conversation between Andrew and Radney are hilarious at tim [...]

    8. Cute sequel to Garlic, which is kinda deceptive as this book takes place at the same time as Garlic does. I was kinda disappointed that it was Radney's story as he only had a small bit part in the first book, but I enjoyed the tale nonetheless. Andrew, Erin (which I thought was totally the feminine form of the name, and it kinda messed with my head trying to get it down that this was a pair of gay twin brothers) and Radney all seemed to act like 12 yr old boys in the first half of the book, then [...]

    9. Well I hate to say this because I really liked the first book in this series but for some reason this one was just not for me This book just felt so rushed to me to be honest. I know it is a Novella so yes it will be a fast read but everything that happened between Radney and Andrew happened so fast that I was left feeling like there really was not much of a connection between the two of them at all. Radney picks Andrew from the Vampire dating website because he feels like no one in his coven li [...]

    10. Although Radney made a brief appearance in My Life Without Garlic, I somehow knew there was more to him, and that there was a story there, so I was happily surprised that the second book in the series was all about him. I loved Radney, in spite of him being slightly off the rockers and having issues as much as the day is long, but he came across as an earnest, honest vampire and not knowing what hit him when we meets Andrew. Andrew however pales in comparison to Radney. He even pales in comparis [...]

    11. 3.5-4 stars for me. I liked this one more than the first book in the series. I feel like it was more serious, still with funny parts, and I liked the couple better. Hope there will be more to this series soon!

    12. Didn't enjoy this as much as the first one. Loved the snark and banter of the MC's in book 1 and was expecting more of the same. . doesn't mean I'm not moving on to book 3 though! Now. that one should be goooood!

    13. Don't Stake My Life on It (The Vamp for Me Book 2)This was great and exciting I like it a lot can't wait to read the next one in this seriesAnd I will be watching for it to.
