    1. This review was originally posted on Fifty Shades of Books5 out of 5 StarsWhat I loved about this book: The great storylineThe kick-ass charactersThe awesome unexpected twists in the storyThe steamy scenesThe angst and suspense (yeah, I loved it) What I felt needed improvement:Absolutely nothing I'm writing this review while I actually finished the book almost two months one month ago. But I'm not exactly nervous when it comes to writing this review (as I always seem to be when I procrastinate m [...]

    2. If you want angst, this gives you angst. Like, an entire book full of angst. I was right at the edge of telling Beth to go fuck herself, but I was thankfully pulled back in. Probably by Torres. because he’s the most sane person in this series. This is the third in the trilogy and it most definitely packs a punch. You need to read the first two in order to understand this one. Promise. We pick back up with Beth and Torres married, Paige dead, and El Escorpian still on the loose. This book center [...]

    3. Crossing the Line is the final book in The Firing Line series. Kierney Scott has written an outstanding series of books here and this book didn’t just round up the loose ends but took me on a completely new roller coaster ride. This was the first time I can remember in which I was brought to tears during the first few pages. Beth’s character has been left dealing with the trauma, grief and guilt following her Sister’s brutal murder at the end of the last book. This emotional mindset sets the [...]

    4. This is Book 3 in a trilogy, books 1 & 2 must be read first in order to follow the story and fully understand it. I received this book to beta read by the author. After the awful ending to book 2 I am surprised Beth finds the will to move on with things. Her life is just torn apart yet she still needs to find it inside herself to continue in her fight to bring down El Escorpion. This book brings even more to the relationship between Beth and Torres, but it also brings more than enough ammuniti [...]

    5. Sometimes Torres just loses it, and I don't blame him, “ask me. What do you want to know? I don’t remember the explosion. You know how Moses died. And I will kill Patterson if he ever comes near you again. There, we have talked about it. Now let’s talk about Paige. Or maybe we should start with where you were yesterday.” He spit out the words, negating the invitation for further discussion." An easy going Beth is a happy one, "Beth shook her head. She held his face in her hands. “No, T [...]

    6. Wowjust wow. I have to say I was worried about how this series would end. There were so many points during this story that I was on the edge of my seat, nervous about the choices of the heroine Beth. Good grief, this woman makes choices that make me want to scream "why?!?!!?!?" However, that being saidI was so excited to see the return of the hero Torres, otherwise known as my book boyfriend. Sorry, Beth.In all seriousness, I absolutely loved each book in this series and Kierney Scott displayed [...]

    7. You have to read this series! Seriously!Though each book is fantastic, to truly appreciate the brilliant plot you have to read them all and I can promise you there will be no regrets.Dark, gritty, incredibly hot, with a plot that will keep you squirming on the edge of your seat. And if the plot doesn't keep you on the edge, then Torres certainly will. Oh Torres

    8. I loved this book like I loved the first 2 in the trilogy. Beth started to irritate me along the way, but the twist at the end was great and unexpected. Usually i find trilogies tedious as most of the stories are stretched out to make 3 books. However, i found these books un-putable-down. I officially love Torres
