    1. It's been a long while since I've been this enchanted with a romance. I love the way the books starts (I won't spoil it for you), setting up the crazy circumstances for Camdyn's "run". Now of course, like any good romance, you know early on who she's going to end up with. But it was such a fun romp of a story in between meeting her "13 on a scale of 1 to 10" and the inevitable happy ending. And the author introduces so many great, full-rounded characters. I love the way Camdyn grows during her e [...]

    2. Wonderful story!!It isn't often that I give 5 star reviews, the book has to really be great and tug at my emotions before I do. This book is fantastic. I cannot tell you how many times I caught myself smiling, laughing and near tears while reading this book. I am so glad to have found this author. I hope to read the whole series. I normally don't read contemporary books, I prefer historical, but I have fell in love with the way the author writes. Thank you for a beautiful book.

    3. Loved, loved, LOVED this book! At first I thought it was just another chick lit/Lifetime Movie romance book but it was so much more! One of the best written books I've read in awhile. The author is witty and extremely talented. Even though it is a sappy romance, she pulled me in and I couldn't get enough. The storyline was very engaging. Highly recommend A Reason to Run.

    4. I really liked both Camdyn and Cole in this story, although I spent half the book torn between liking Cole and being incredibly frustrated with him. I liked the fact that their issues and conflicts began early on in the book, rather than waiting for everything to fall apart three-quarters of the way through. It felt much more realistic for them to have to work things out a bit at a time instead of resolving everything with a single nice conversation after the huge conflict. I also liked the way [...]

    5. Thank you @isamom for recommending this book to me. I will read another, I relate very much to her humor. I cried over landscaping. That's a first.

    6. I decided to take a chance on a new author the other day. A Reason to Run by Christina Coryell is the book. I am very glad I took the chance because this book is wonderful!Quirky, funny, delightful, very well written, A Reason to Run drew me in from the very first and I immediately was glad that I'd agreed to read the book. Camdyn Taylor writes historical novels under a pen name. She has decided that she will write a book about her ancestress and, prompted by a very humiliating experience, leave [...]

    7. Cole is love. This book definitely gave me the feels. I couldn't put it down, waiting and waiting for Cole and Camdyn to get together! The teaser in the beginning drove me nuts. What also made me a little crazy was how it took them forever to admit how they felt about each other - and how long it took before they kissed! And to think Cole said he'd wanted to kiss her that first night! So yeah, you can see I was really invested in this story haha! I also really liked the Willa - great (x5) grandmo [...]

    8. This book drew me in from the start. Camdyn is a complex and very real character. She certainly has a reason to run, a poor victim of viral-social-media-video infamy. The author did a brilliant job helping the reader feel the excitement Camdyn and Cole felt when they were getting to know each other and everything between them just clicked. It reminded me of the way it feels when you meet the right guy, and you do almost feel like a high-school girl with a crush again because you're blushing so m [...]

    9. I absolutely loved this book! This is not what I normally read as I love mysteries and tend to eschew romances, but this book was different. It was so well-written and such a good story that the fact it had romance made it better. It wasn't formulaic or predictable at all, funny, sad, sweet all rolled into one. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

    10. Oh my, oh my, oh myWhat a wonderful book. I was caught up in ths story from the beginning. As more and more of the characters was revealed, I felt more and more emotion. Such an engrossing read, I had trouble putting it down. Can't wait to read the next one. Highly recommend this book.

    11. This was such a wonderful story and so well written I couldn't help but smile and even laugh at the interaction between Cole and Camdyn. It was easy to connect with the characters. Such a sweet love story that was difficult to put down. I look forward to reading the reast of the series.

    12. I am so glad I found this book! It was a wonderfully written romance that was clean and sweet. I am looking forward to reading more books by this author.

    13. This book I bought on a 99 cent whim thanks to T I Lowe. :-) I have to say, that the way this came together was perfect!

    14. I'm trying out a new rating system so my reviews are thorough, but aren't as long. Let me know what you think. My review will go through a list of pros and cons that I had with the book. I won't give spoilers if I can avoid it and should I write a spoiler, it will be hidden so you, dear reader, don't have to worry about the book being ruined. I am a writer, so I do look at books through both a reader and writer point of view. That being said, just because I don't like it, it doesn't mean I'm atta [...]

    15. When I started this book, I didn't know what to expect. Christina Coryell was not an author I'd ever heard of, so I went in completely blind. Although, I prefer that, to be honest. As I began to read, I picked at the little things that seemed unrealistic to me. I had imagined Camdyn to be something she very clearly was not. I thought she was a recluse like myself, hiding from the big wide world. Hiding, because putting herself out there was far too scary a prospect. I've spent a large part of my [...]

    16. This book was what I needed at the right time. Nothing earth shattering, it is a light, humorous, somewhat predictable novel that was a fun read. The main character was pretty funny and I loved the banter. Best part is that it's clean. There were a few people that marked this as Christian Lit, but apart from a few prayers, that are not too detailed, there really wasn't anything there. They did go to church and of course I expected the minister to expound on and on about something - but it wasn't [...]

    17. I love the richness of characterization throughout. A writer myself, I know how our story inhabitants sometimes fight to keep their secrets. Eben the characters with least mention were 3-D and I'd swear I saw them inhale. . Thanks for taking my mind off the ugly details of my life and replacing the uglies with laughter and warm fuzzies. This book inspired me to keep trying for patience to endure our difficulties, keep looking for the bright side of things, and remember the love story my husband [...]

    18. this was a very sweet romantic novel. I am one who enjoys action type novels but this one is a very good read. Camdyn is running from her past, her mistakes, not knowing where to go, who to trust or what to do. She is a writer living under an assumed name for her writing but when she meets the right man and discovers some information about her past, she makes the transition to come out from under her assumed name.It is a very good book about finding true relationships, forming families and frien [...]

    19. Wow, I'm impressed. When I browsed through the "Free Romance" section in amazon, I thought those books would be so bad, I wouldn't even be able to rate them. I don't dislike the way it has been written, and I even found myself smiling once or twice in the novel (and it's not easy to get a reaction out of me when I'm reading, I sort of forget I exist and there's just the book). I'm honestly impressed; why is this book free?

    20. Wow!I can't begin to do a review that's good enough for a book like this! I absolutely loved all the characters but Camdyn and Cole were awesome. I'm excited to read more of their journey. It's not often you get to see "the rest of the story" in this genre. Christina, you are now on my list of favorite authors!

    21. I read book 1 and 2 and am anxious to get bk # 3 I have loved this series and where Camdyn is a bit over the charts for being accident prone it did add some humor to the book. But it is well written, good story plot and bk 1 I thought I would put it down but stuck out the first few chapters for the background and then it delved into a great story.

    22. Interesting and amusingI would definitely recommend this book as a light-hearted read for vacation or a cold winter evening. Very amusing laugh out loud sometimes. Really enjoyed it and look forward to reading some more of her books.

    23. Loved this storyThis story is heartwarming and I loved all of it. The writing and editing are spectacular. I’m so entrenched in Camden’s life that I can’t wait to read the next in this series.

    24. TremendousBeautifully written story of love and God's loving direction in our lives long before we realize it. This author has a true gift from the Father when it comes to writing.

    25. Book one: a love story Camdyn is a hot mess! Who can't relate to that? And she has a public self and a private one, and the private Camdyn longs to be that perfect person she has created. But God has other ideas.

    26. Making a new start from an old one.I must admit I was pretty jealous of her life. I would of loved to lived it. To have pure happiness.

    27. Fantastic book.Really enjoyed the whole concept of this story. Did not believe that she would ever be able to accept a proposal of marriage.

    28. The characters were well built and the story flowed . Not a usual page turning thriller I am used to but very enjoyable. No violence, sex or graphic gore that made it refreshing. Bravo
