    1. (view spoiler)[lockwood and lucy were looking right into each others eyes and then lucy blushed and george said "awkward" i'm ded goodbye (hide spoiler)]---ok ok honestly i accidentally read the blurb bc im a bitch who needs to read stuff before even finishing the previous damn book. (view spoiler)[LUCY FUCKING LEAVES LOCKWOOD AND CO? IS IT BC OF THAT HOLLY BITCH? (hide spoiler)]

    2. Full review postedThere are precisely three things in this world that make my heart all fuzzy1. Hoodies and hot chocolate2. Reading fricken good books while it’s snowing3. LucewoodThis book was fantastic. This book was beautiful. This book was creepy. This book was literally so great I could scream about it for decades to come. (s) So, let’s talk about how this book is the greatest book in this series. 1. Lucy is a boss and she doesn’t let anyone tell her otherwise like always2. Holly and [...]

    3. There's this badge on the cover of the books: Stroud is a genius. Obviously, that's 100% true. And to be honest The Creeping Shadow, isn't even flawless perfection. In fact, it's the most flawed in the series. It's still awesome though. And very much so. Because when it works, it works brilliantly. I really can't recommend it enough. The series that is, because skipping ahead to this book, without reading the first ones, would be cheating yourself. Obviously. Anyway, if Stroud were to write and [...]

    4. 5 stars all over againThese books are so near and dear to my heart. Lucy, Lockwood, and George are wonderful and I love them so much. They are some of the best written characters I've come across in YA fiction, and they stand with the greats (Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, etc). And of course the skull. His sass takes on a whole new level here and I can't tell you the number of times I busted out laughing at something he said XDI don't even know if I can write a full and coherent review for this b [...]

    5. Something wicked this way comes. Mild spoilers, for instance.Confession time: This book was probably my least favorite in the series. Alright, alright, put down those pitchforks and hear me out for a minute. The Creeping Shadow was flawed. The first half of the book was, much like Lucy's encounters with Lockwood and the gang, awkward. It took a while to find its flow, and was honestly a little repetitive until it found its groove. We didn't need to be reminded of what happened in the previous boo [...]

    6. This book is awesome. It has all of the great components one looks for in a young adult book: quick action, loveable characters, a great plot, and it manages to both put a smile on my face as well as scare me to the point where I have to sleep with the lights on.Unlike the other Lockwood and Co. books so far, this one focuses more on action and plot, and less so on the individual haunts and the team-bonding aspect. And, while refreshing, it does have its downsides though not many. For starters, L [...]

    7. I have this huge crush with Lockwood and every time his name pops up, I drool. This is the 4th book of the series and if you haven't read the other 3 yet, close this tab right now and wash your eyes. The story started six months after Lucy left Lockwood's agency *wails*. There's still some major exorcism in this book but what differs The Creeping Shadow from the 3 books is that, this book reveals some major creepy conspiracy that is happening all over London.I won't tell you any spoiler because I [...]

    8. The wait for this is going to kill me. Reading this is going to kill me. Everything about this book will kill me. EDIT: There's a blurb and Lucy just left I can't even process this I'm so excited! Personally, I'm hoping for lots of Lucewood.6/8/16: THERE'S A COVER AND I COULDN'T LOVE IT MORE! 3/11/17: Wow. Read this book

    9. I CAN'T WAITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTI NEED THIS BOOK NOWWWWWWWWWWWNOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW Jonathan Stroud, HURRY!Better yet, don't hurry. I'd rather wait a long time and get another really awesome book, than have a case of the infamous Author On Deadline crappy writing. Take your time. But make sure it's awesome. And whatever you do, please, please don't make a love triangle.

    10. 4,5 Sterne!

    11. I adore this series. I always look forward to the newest book. And I have to get these on audiobook because the narration is always excellent. I was not disappointed. At the end of "The Hollow Boy", Lucy leaves Lockwood and Co for what seems like good reasons at the time. She becomes an independent contractor ghost hunter and she's good at her job. But she's not happy, even with her glass jar skull for company. She misses the camaraderie of Lockwood and Co.: George, even Holly, and of course, Lo [...]

    12. 5/5 starsI really really enjoy this book. It’s not spectacular. In fact, I guess the third book, The Hollow Boy, remains my favorite of the series but this book has it’s own enjoyable feels. The story began with Lucy working as freelance psychic advisor. She did relatively well with the skull in her side but she longed for a proper team. Suddenly, after not seeing each other for four months, Lockwood came to her office/apartment and asked for her help. The meeting was quite comical. Lucy hadn [...]

    13. First read reviewEvery now and then, I find flawed books that need to be rated five-stars. I can't not rate them such; it's as if every flaw I may notice while reading is insignificant and powerless because the rest of it's too damn good. The Creeping Shadow is one of themcond read reviewThe first time I read the Creeping Shadow, I devoured it eagerly, and clumsily. I realized soon after I'd read it I couldn't really write a review. Yes, I loved it, so I could rate it 5-stars, but there was a va [...]

    14. 5 bintang!!Lockwood and co.

    15. Another good chapter in this series. These are great for kids and a lot of fun for adults. I love the cheeky British humor in this middle school urban fantasy series about a ghost hunting agency.

    16. FIVE STARS. This successfully addresses almost all the relationship and character problems I had in the previous book - Lucy, Holly, George - and it also portrays quite a few satisfying decisions, in addition to (to my mind) improved interactions. Also, The Creeping Shadow comes across as more of a mystery than any book preceding it; it's probably because the usual case mystery is clearly tangled up in something bigger from the start, and both unfold simultaneously. There's a lot of breadcrumb-d [...]

    17. When I saw this I was like:I better get started reading the 3rd one.(view spoiler)[ Yep I rated it. I already know it's going to be 5 stars. (hide spoiler)]["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

    18. I have finished my quest of rereading all the Lockwood and Co. book before The Empty Grave comes out! I love this book. I think it's my favorite book in the series, which is surprising because of all the stuff that happens. So, The Creeping Shadow is my favorite, which is closely followed by The Screaming Staircase. After that is The Hollow Boy. And my least favorite is The Whispering Skull. But don't get me wrong, they're all fantastic and I love all of them. Only three days until The Empty Gra [...]

    19. “What, are you queuing now? Just how British are you people? Don’t just stand in line! Kill somebody!”(dixit The Skull, of course)What can I say? I was supposed to read this book next month, but I just couldn’t resist. Bit of a reading slump, and it was calling me :O) After the events of the previous instalment, I just had to find out what happens to Lucy, now on her own, working as a freelance operative. Well, not exactly on her own if you count Snarky Skull ‘commenting' on everything [...]

    20. After an ominous glimpse at the future, Lucy decided it was best to part ways with Lockwood & Co. She transformed herself practically overnight into a successful freelance agent (with the help of the talking skull in a jar that she carries around with her) that have many vying for her services. When a knock on her door early one morning brings Lockwood back into her life, requesting her services in a most important job, she struggles to decide which is the right path for her. Lucy begins to [...]

    21. I don't know why I love these so much, because I hate scary things, but it's such a good series. I just want to be the office manager and send Holly (who is actually portrayed very sympathetically) packing. This would be lovely, since I would be able to have my six cups of tea a day and no one would blink, since this is England, and tea might be the only thing to give us strength to endure the ghost infestations. I am very impressed by how Stroud is able to write from a female viewpoint. While L [...]

    22. How on earth did I get so invested in a series about ghosts?! I dislike ghost stories, generally speaking. Yet I loved the Real Ghostbusters cartoon as a kid, and this is like the Super-British Version with a bonus of super-understated and repressed teen romance, so all right then.In fact a bit more than all right, because this is the fourth book in the series and I'm still eagerly readingAnyway, THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING I WANTED. Well, not literally everything because there are still more adven [...]

    23. 4.5 stars. Totally fun installment in a really fun series. Luce is an independent consultant, working with teams from various companies. She's got Skull with her, who often is more effective at helping her on her ghost hunting than her team members. Lockwood & Co remain busy as well, continuing to do well, though missing Lucy. With Marissa Fittes engaging Lockwood & Co on a difficult job, Lockwood takes the opportunity to employ Lucy on the case. I love the interactions amongst the whole [...]

    24. I'm legitimately angry about this book. It managed to fulfill every expectation I had based on the previous while still turning the entire world on its head. The way the pieces slowly fell together in the final few pages was genuinely shocking. Of all the last-minute bombshells I was expecting, that was not one of them. Stroud deftly breaks a lot of rules in other books; here he all but redefines them. This book also contains some of the best ghosty stuff to date, with images and ideas that are a [...]

    25. I have good news and bad news. First, the bad news: there will be only one Lockwood novel to come out. The good news, this latest novel is the best of the series so far. In terms of plot, definitely fulfill the expectation, following that rather shocking ending of The Hollow Boy. The opening scenes of Lucy trying her luck (with lots of troubles) being a freelancer are lots of fun. Obviously, being a small world of ghost agenting, her path came across Lockwood & Co yet again. Here, we are giv [...]

    26. As always the plot is well paced very fast moving and creative and lots of fun to read.

    27. This review and others can be found on BW Book Reviews.4.5/5And, we’re back. This book picks up after the end of the last book and is the second to last book in this series. There’s a lot of ground it has to cover, along with makeup for the disappointment book three was. Luckily, this was a whole lot better.Lucy has largely gotten over herself from the last book. She’s done some soul-searching (no pun intended) and is reunited with her gang. The bane of her existence from the last book, ak [...]

    28. Oh my! I [...]
