    1. I ain't afraid of no turtle! This TPB collects “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles / Ghostbusters” #1-4.Creative Team:Writers: Erik Burnham & Tom WaltzIllustrator: Dan SchoeningAdditional illustrators: Charles Paul Wilson III & Cory SmithNEW YORK’S FINEST TEAMSThe Ghostbusters are here! – And apparently so are some kinda kung fu martians.I had heard about this crossover (thanks to reviews of GR friends here) but I wasn’t able to get it, but some days ago (in Black Friday to be precise [...]

    2. Donatello builds a stargate and accidentally teleports himself and the other Turtles to a different New York – the Ghostbusters’ New York! The two franchises proceed to putz around for as long as they need to and then it ends. I don’t dislike either the Turtles or the Ghostbusters but this comic was dreadful, mostly because of writers Erik Burnham and Tom Waltz’s humdrum script. The opening scene from centuries ago had no bearing on the story whatsoever. The villain, a bullgod or somethi [...]

    3. In this story, the TMNT are accidentally transported into an alternate reality New York City to try and help their friend, Casey Jones, who has been possessed by a demonic ghost thingy. The cool thing is that in this reality, they run into the Ghostbusters team and enlist their help. This had a lot of potential because of the mash-up with the Ghostbusters crew, but it was kind of boring. There wasn't enough humor and it just didn't hold my interest. I received a copy of this through Netgalley to [...]

    4. Man, I had so much fun reading this work. Basically, the Turtles end up hitching a ride into the wrong dimension as a result of one of Donatello's malfunctioning inventions. They arrive in New York, but end up encountering a dangerous spirit who takes control of one of their friends (Casey). Luckily, the Ghostbusters arrive to help matters out. I totally ship Donatello and Egon as potential BFFs (Raphael and Peter too - those two had more quotable one-liners in this comic than a little bit). The [...]

    5. Who you gonna call…? The pizza delivery guy! This a fun book. But, you probably figured that one out by the title alone.Basically, the Turtles end up in an alternate dimension where grow men hunt ghosts. The machine that causes the trans-dimensional travel is thankfully just a quick plot device and the author doesn’t try to overly explain it. There is instead a nice little homage to a classic teleportation machine gone wrong story, with The Fly. (view spoiler)[ Although, you don’t see anyth [...]

    6. Do you happen to like either Ghostbusters or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ? of course you do and if you don't I hate you (no I don't I'm lying) First of all let me give you my rating it's a 3.5 out of 5 because the plot was kind a meh, I rounded it up to a 4 because it was so much fun. I mean its friggin GB and TMNT gimme a break. This book is definitely worth a read.

    8. 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Ghostbusters' is a 4 issue crossover comic that was actually a lot of fun. When a new invention goes wrong, the Turtles are sent to an alternate New York where the Ghostbusters live. Instead of weird mutants and anthropomorphic animals, they have to learn to deal with ghosts. The Ghostbusters likewise have to figure out what to do with these human size talking turtles. The turtles are chasing a strange new enemy who has captured their friend Casey Jones. They also hav [...]

    9. TMNT meets the Ghostbusters! How can that not be awesome? My complete review can be watched at:youtu/9BKPtpApURI

    10. This is the complete review as it appears at my blog dedicated to reading, writing (no 'rithmatic!), movies, & TV. Blog reviews often contain links which are not reproduced here, nor will updates or modifications to the blog review be replicated here. Graphic and children's reviews on the blog typically feature two or three images from the book's interior, which are not reproduced here.Note that I don't really do stars. To me a book is either worth reading or it isn't. I can't rate it three- [...]

    11. 4.5 stars.I admit to being a sucker for nostalgia. It's bad enough that I spent a couple hundred dollars to go to a convention just to meet the voice actors and one of the original writers of the comics, Kevin Eastman. And since Ghostbusters and TMNT were huge parts of my childhood, this comic was basically like someone at IDW said "How can we get Liss to give us money? This? Would this do it?"It absolutely would, and to be perfectly honest, this book was well worth the money to me. It would hav [...]

    12. I received a copy of this through Netgalley for free in exchange for an honest review. I did not receive any other form of payment or compensation. Sadly. When a new invention goes haywire, the Turtles are sent to a whole new type of New York City. One with a whole lot more ghosts and Ghostbusters! The two teams will have to learn to get along quickly, because a new foe from the Turtles past has followed them and aims to conquer NYC!OH MY GOD, GUYS, THERE'S A TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES CROSSOVE [...]

    13. Reviewed first at Brunner's BookshelfI love the Netgalley emails that have all the new Graphic Novels available. Most of the time they are Read Now titles. I don't always like the titles in those emails, but when I saw the Ninja Turtles and Ghostbusters in one book I couldn't download this fast enough. So there is a lot going on in this book for such a short story. We begin way way back in time with a few immortals fighting it out. There is some magic and Chi-you is sucked into a dimensional lim [...]

    14. First, I'll tell you what I know about these characters, I've seen both of the Ghostbuster movies, and played the video games. I've seen a good amount of the TMNT 00's show, some of the movies, and just a little bit here and there of their other materials. Ok, on to the review. This matchup is cool, pretty neat to see these characters interact and exchange witty banter. Also, great to see everyone in a semi-modern, but still true to the character's setting. Story was pretty good, the only weakne [...]

    15. This was a very fun read for any Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Ghostbusters fan! I loved how there were so many little "Easter eggs" such as Bebop & Rocksteady, Erma, Channel 6 News van; Staypuff Marshmallow Man, even little stills from the old TMNT Gameboy game I was obsessed with as a kid. The writing was funny and had me laughing with inside humor.

    16. IDW's version of the TMNT meets IDW's version of the Ghostbusters! Better than most crossovers of this sort, with some nice moments between the two sides, some fun moments for the fans, and an enemy appropriate for both teams. No real complaints here, I was a satisfied customer. (B+)

    17. I think the title of this book says it all. It's not Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles meets Ghostbusters or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the Ghostbusters, it's just Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Ghostbusters. As in, "We know you've wanted this crossover since you were nine years old, let's not waste words here."When I was a kid I used to have all the toys from both of these franchises. I've conceptualized this mash-up many times from my bedroom floor. I had high hopes for this. And let me tell yo [...]

    18. I would consider myself a fan of both the Ninja Turtles and the Ghostbusters, so when I saw this comic I had to read it. While the idea seems odd, it didn’t feel weird while I was reading it. The art felt like it belonged in a TMNT comic. The Ghostbusters looked a bit questionable, but they were still identifiable and kept in line with what I’ve seen of the current style for their comic. The reasoning for why the Turtles and the Ghostbusters were in the universe seemed plausible. Everyone ha [...]

    19. A fun little crossover romp between two amazing casts of characters. While the art and story are good, and the events are within the cannon of both books, something felt off while reading this. The humor and callouts seem to fall flat at times. The art is truly the best part of the book. The plot and characters are servicable, I just thought these issues would leave me wanting more when I had finished. I had a fun time with the story just thought it would have a bigger punch. If you want a fun qu [...]

    20. Awesome, the communication from the two different team was great from fighting style to what each character was good act. The way the story begin is easy to follow you do not get lost or not necessary to know anything about past events or current events. Story kept my attention from beginning to end.

    21. I like together in comic from artier book other and match story with Chinese ghost and his summer monsters or something then those turtles want back home but first clean or job for ghost who want after Turtles and Ghost busters.

    22. This review and more can be found at The A P Book Club!*I received this book from IDW Publishing in exchange for an honest review*I've been a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching the 80's/90's cartoon, seeing all of the live-action movies, and more recently I've started reading all of the comics I can get my hands on. I'm also likely to watch Ghostbusters whenever it's on TV, and I usually pull out the DVD at least once a year. They're both cl [...]

    23. I don’t regularly read these comics. I just thought the story was neat and I like the Ghostbusters far more than the TMNT so I figured I’d give it a shot. Take 45 minutes out of my life, at most. Overall it was worth it.The story does reference past Ghostbusters comics which I haven’t read but it was just the one time and it didn’t take away from the plot any. I just moved past it and let the story unfold. The storyline was a bit out there with the ancient, banished guy coming into New Y [...]

    24. Possibly the most fun ever in a comic crossover story. The TMNTs are experimenting with Fugitoid's interspatial teleportation unit and decide to surprise Splinter with a quick visit to test the unit. Unfortunately, the person working the controls swats at a pesky insect and accidentally sends them to an alternate dimension. The turtles, Casey, and April find themselves in the same New York as the Ghostbusters. And when they come through from their own dimension, they accidentally free an ancient [...]

    25. Who you gonna call?Heroes in a half shell Turtle Power!!Ooh My God This was a dream coming true. Two of my childhood hero teams together in a beautiful comic book cross-over! Can you believe it?!If you think a cross-over between these two is impossible to make any sense, you're definitely wrong! This was a match made in heaven.Although, I think the story would've made more sense if I read one of the two series it involved. There were some characters I never heard, which caused that I didn't unde [...]

    26. *I received this book as an eARC from Diamond Book Distributors and IDW Publishing via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*I must admit, I am familiar with both these franchises, but I am not a superfan of either. That being said, there are probably a lot more references than I got. Although I did get quite a few great references. The turtles have a new invention. And when a test goes wrong, the turtles and friends end up in another dimension's NYC. This NYC is quite familiar with superna [...]
