    1. The characters in this little light read were particularly non-engaging. From the book-blurb it is not always clear if the author will give the story more content, more gravitas. Well, for sure, Jennifer McArdle didn’t. She describes a heroine, Nora, a twenty-five year old woman, whose background is a mystery; she doesn’t have any skills, we don’t know where in Los Angeles she’s from. The only thing we do know is that she’s been living off her looks and been engaged to a ‘rich’ guy [...]

    2. This book was a disappointment. There is no real development of the characters or their relationship. She doesn't grow or adap to her surroundings. There is no real conflict at all. So it was pretty boring. I honestly kept reading because she did a great job of describing the background and also because I kept hoping that something amazing would happen or that the heroine would start adapting and proving everyone wrong, but no. So this story fell flat and I will not continue to read this series. [...]

    3. Okay.Loved her interaction with the great outdoors. Would have been better had she not been quite so needy. Worth the read.

    4. Water's Edge reviewWater's Edge is the first book in the Alaskan Frontier Romance series written by author Jennifer McArdle. Great story about life in the Alaskan bush.

    5. A great readThis is a tale about a girl who has to run away from it all just to find herself . she finds true love in the bargain a great coming of age romance

    6. Review Book was just okay a good summer read pretty predictable ending but a nice story. Would recommend it as a romance story
