    1. I have to wait until sometime in 2015? Uggghhh!! This will kill me. This is a great series, with murder, mystery, romance, great character, and the intrigue that comes naturally with the setting of the bayou and New Orleans. The one thing that's bugging me though is this whole thing that's been left on the table with Caroline's sister Claire. Caroline was going to resolve that and Claire's boyfriend is Beau's cousin, who he'd have an influence. It just feels like a major miss and out of Caroline [...]

    2. LifelineI'm curious to know why Caroline is acting so strange to her mother having visions when just last summer it was her having them? She's acting like her mom is losing her mind, this whole scenario should be familiar to Caroline. I think it's dumb for her not to realize that. So I'm going to have to rate this book 3.75-3.90 stars for my frustration with her clueless-ness during this book 2. Cade is still wonderful and elusive! Ms. Judy you know how to write a MAN! So sexy! More man candy Ma [...]

    3. This book was AMAZING! I couldn't put it down. I read it in a day. I would recommend this book for anyone who likes intense romance and mystery books. I am so glad I was brought to this series on my kindle. It has consumed my life!

    4. I enjoyed this book much more than the first. Interesting mix of paranormal, romance, family history. Looking forward to the 3rd book in the series

    5. Either I was very confused about certain parts, or I just don't see how some of the details fit together to make this a believable story. After the first few chapters, I typed out several of the big points, which I will mark as spoilers below. Afterward, I gave up caring what made sense and what didn't and just read the rest of the story. I still enjoyed the characters and story, but the "believability" factor, along with what I perceived to be loose ends, was very disappointing. This book lacks [...]

    6. Omg another great piece of Bayou Secrets SagaWow! Breathtakingly romantic and filled with thrills and chills. So we get some happiness in book two but we are still waiting for that explosive conclusion. With as much passion and romance filling in between the ghosts, conspiracies and life threatening events I didn't even miss the lack of explicit sexual encounters. There is definitely heated passion but no detailed sex. Imagination fills in what isn't written and sometimes that is better than ero [...]

    7. A jumbled, fragmented story that leaves the reader confused. As if the author was trying to tell too much all at once. The story picks up after Caroline graduates from nursing school and returns to the bayou. Cade's secrets are revealed but mashed between Caroline being haunted and her step mother's antics. The reader is left wondering if voodoo is involved or just guardian angels trying to protect Caroline and her family from evil.

    8. Phenomenal book. It was just as wonderful as book #1, like I previously stated, I will always purchase whatever Mrs. McDonough publishes. Wonderful storyteller, the book flows exactly the way it should, and the ending definitely made me lust after book #3. Purchase this, you will be thankful that you did.

    9. IntenseI liked it don't get me wrong, but while the passion and desires was great, and the introduction of new characters was okay. I just felt that there was too much emphasis on the small details rather then the actual storyline. Hoping it will pick up on the 3rd book.
