    1. I received this book as an ARC from the author. In the summary it warned me that not all love stories have a happy ending. I am just going to reiterate that comment for anyone who is currently planning to read this book is not your typical HEA HR. You have been warnedgardless, you should still read it because it is such a well told story and the characters are so vivid and real.Personally I usually go for the cookie cutter HR. I like knowing I am going to get a couple who doesn't want to be toge [...]

    2. *** May contain spoiler *** I received this book from the author for an honest review. This is my first Christina McKnight book and I must say I have been sucked in and now I must read more. :) This was one of the first spy type books I have read in the Historical Romance Genre. I loved it. I love the twists and turns that kept me turning the pages. Lady Lorele the daughter of french spies who's family have to do what they do and come out to be uncaring towards her. Just all business all the tim [...]

    3. I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review, and I'd like to take this moment to be petulant and stick my tongue out at those who had to wait to read this amazing installment. *sticks out tongue*Now that we have that out of the way. I truly loved this book. It is so different from the other two books in the series, but equally as amazing, if not, slightly moreso. After reading Forgotten No More, I hated the Marquis of Drake, and when I learned that this book was about his life prior to [...]

    4. I have to say that I have read all of Christina McKnight's books starting with Shunned No More. I loved them all! Scorned Ever More has to be her best. She warns us that all stories don't have a happy ending. This story draws you in and keeps you rooting for the Marquis of Drake/Andrew. Hating Benji and Hoping that Lorelei will forget what her Father and country wants and will marry the right one. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat, make you shout and cry but is the absolute best b [...]

    5. This book is everything I wanted it to bet is so very different from the other books in the series. Enjoy!

    7. The book starts out with Lady Lorele the daughter of french spies whose family had to do what they needed to do and they always come out to be uncaring towards her and just all business. Lorelei loves her parents but must do what she has to do for her parents sake in hopes that it will set her free to start the life she wants to have even when she is not even sure if that is possible.Andrew Penten, The Marquis of Drake is a man that is use to getting everything he wants. He plans never marry or [...]

    9. I received an ARC copy of this book, with the promise of an honest review. I absolutely loved this book and can't wait to read the next one. I found the book so captivating, that I ended up completing in one day. Christina really has a way with her characters, I fell in love with Andrew, but I hated Benji,I wanted to go into the book and just slap him. This book brought out so many different emotions; it made me laugh, cry, scream, my kids probably thoguht I was nuts. But I would definitely reco [...]

    10. Christina McKnight’s “Scorned Ever More” is the third book in her historical romance series, A Lady Forsaken. Another set of new and interesting plot elements that I've never seen in historical romance before! Once again, the characters and story line are great. There was a full-on sex scene in this one and it was amazing! I'm still in shock over the ending though. I'll have to see what happens in #4 before I know how I truly feel about the ending of #3, I think.

    11. I have read all three books in the series and I have to say this one by far is my favorite. It had me on edge from beginning to end.At times I wanted to jump into the book just to hug poor Lord Drake and Lady Lorelei. They both lost so much it broke my heart. Truly an amazing story Christina McKnight!

    12. A great addition to the A Lady Forsaken series and this book is hot and steamy, but makes you laugh and cry throughout. It is full of emotion as the author pulls you in from the beginning. You will love the characters as much as hate them, as you travel with them on life's journey. I love this authors work and look forward to the next book. Received a copy for an honest review.

    13. Definitely unlike any Regency romance I have ever read. Although at times I didn't understand why the main characters did what they did the ending was a shocker! I'm not as poetic as most commenters on here, but if you want a read that is surprising and unconventional this book is for you!!

    14. I don't normally read historicals for pleasure, but I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the next in the series!*Full review to come

    15. Christina McKnight proves that not all books have a happily ever after but will still keep you enthralled to the very end. This is a wonderful story about espionage, betrayal and an unrequited love. Andrew Penton, the Marquis of Drake sees Lorelei and falls instantly in love. Lorelei is attracted to Andrew too but marries his bestfriend to complete her mission. Benji marries Lorelei just to best Andrew. There is no happy ending just a great story.

    16. From the first page, Scorned Ever More, by Christina McKnight, kept me entertained and swiping eBook pages. Over all, I thoroughly enjoyed McKnight's attention to detail and commitment to staying true to the historical premise of SEM. Unfortunately, SEM's ending left me disappointed. Nonetheless, I highly recommend SEM to all historical-romance readers who enjoy storylines that are filled with scandalous and intriguing drama.

    17. Scorned Ever More (A Lady Forsaken, Book 3) by Christina McKnightEven though this is Book 3, it takes us back in time to tell Andrew’s story. As Christina warns, not all stories have HEAs. In spite of that, there was a love story that I truly believed needed to be told to bring even more depth to this series.

    18. 3.5/5.0A historical romance like few others, “Scorned Ever More” is not a happy tale. Andrew and Lorelei are met with opposition at every turn. Read full review in the 2015 October issue of InD'tale Magazine.

    19. Not exactly your typical romance story. Usually a given in the genre is the HEA (happily ever after). Having read the previous book in the series I was at a loss to figure out how Drake was going to be anything worth a HEA. This was a fair book. I do think it seems out of place in the series order.
