    1. A heartwarming story! What a beautiful story of trust and forgiveness. When I started reading The Color of a Memory, written by Julianne MacLean, I was not sure what to expect, but I soon felt some beautiful emotions. This is the fifth book in the Color of Heaven Series. Audrey's story is really touching. The author really mixed all her characters in a love story that ends well. Audrey, is a young widow and discovers that her deceased husband, may not have been the man she once knew. Will she di [...]

    2. I gave this book 4 stars because it was very fast paced and intriguing. And I really appreciate fast paced in a book.It kept me engaged all the way through and while it was not too creepy it did have a "thriller" feel to it due to twists and turns and the pace. If anything, I would describe the book as "sweet" (as opposed to normal thriller scary). The characters were very likable and I enjoyed rooting for their happiness. With that said, it was a light read for me. I liked the characters but did [...]

    3. This is the 5th in the series -I just can't seem to get enough of these books and now I can't wait for the next one to come out in August. This one is about Audrey FitzgeraldShe is an ER nurse and when good looking, firefighter Alex comes in with a broken foot, he starts putting the moves on herAlex calls and finally Audrey agrees to go out with himThe fall in love, but Audrey just cannot seem to trust Alex. This will also follow Nadia Carmichael who you meet in the 4th of the series.Another great [...]

    4. Another wonderfully delightful book in the continuation of the series starting with The Color of Heaven. This is the 5th in the series. The storyline pulled me in right from the beginning. I love how the characters overlap and are all connected, it just makes me want to learn more about their lives. I was so enthralled with the book I found myself dreaming about the characters and wondered what would happen next. Thank you to the author Julianne MacLean for entertaining me in such a fashion. I'm [...]

    5. I read the first book in this series, The Color of Heaven, a while ago and enjoyed it so much that when I noticed this one for free on I had to add it to my collection. The Color of a Memory was a wonderful story of a life saved by an unfortunate accident by a heart transplant, love, loss, and a realization that our loved ones are closer to us in the afterlife than we could ever imagine.A heartfelt, quick read that will pull at your heart strings.

    6. Julianne MacLean knows how write a great story! The Color of a Memory was my first Julianne Maclean book, and I read it through in one sitting. The main character, ER nurse Audrey Fitzgerald, is realistic, flawed, strong, moved by big emotions and major life moments in what could be anyone's town. I enjoyed chasing all the threads of her story through the satisfying and sometimes poignant tapestry they wove. Well done, Julianne!

    7. This book is like a five way intersectionThis book is like a five way intersection where they each get their chance to enter the intersection and decide which road to take. they each end up crossing one another and decide which path they are being led on by the force of the memory of Alex Fitzgerald. A good easy read that kept my attention to where I didn't want to put the book down.

    8. I read this in a day. Compelling story that moves very quickly. Page turner. I love stories of intricate relationships, and this one is certainly that. Some interesting theological/philosophical musings. I'll be picking up more by this author.

    9. This book was so good I read it in less than a day. Deeply emotional with strong characters and a well developed plot kept me turning the pages. A good clean book about love's power this was a very touching read.

    10. Another good one by Julianna Maclean. I will read the rest of them as I loved the first one. A nurse falls in love with Alex a fireman that was hurt. She thinks hes a player but cant help herself. After a bunch on not so nice happenings , she ends up pregnant by him and he asks her to marry him. She always had thoughts in back of her mind is he a player or really just a gorgeous nice guy. He ends up dying and his heart is given to a woman in need of a heart. Down the line his wife meets her and [...]

    11. I am just loving this series. I think this was my favorite so far. I love how the characters all seem to intertwine somehow. This is the story of Alex, the man who gave his heart to Nadia after his death. His wife finds something in his car 2 years after his death and feels betrayed. She is angry and hurt. His best friend, David, helps her to look into matters and what they find shocks them. This story is heartwarming and hopeful and just awesome.

    12. Another beautiful story by the very tallented Julianne MacLean with a superb narration by Jennifer O'Donnell in the audiobook. This story has just the right amount of every ingredient that will make a book exciting, interesting, thought provoking and enjoyable.Needless to say, I laughed and I cried, got angry and then elated, but was never bored and I am happy to recommend this book or the audiobook to readers who enjoy a good paranormal mystery with all the twists and turns that keep one glued t [...]

    13. Geat bookLoved the book. Loved the characters. Loved the suspense. I'm really loving this series. A great author. Love that all the books are clean and ready to read. Recommended.

    14. Because of the fast pace of the book the characters don't really get to develop too deeply. That being said it was a good quick read and if did manage to surprise me!

    15. To Loving A SoulThis series is a hear trenching series to read but one worth the time. Each story had it own unique qualities and the background to match. No matter which book you start with you will be awwed and compelled to read each one. I do suggest to read them in order as you get more out of them but if you don't that's OK too. The characters are very, very thought out and have great depth. The situation are meaningful, poignant, and will grip your heart. A box of Kleenex is recommended to [...]

    16. This was a fast paced romance. It had all the necessary characters, hot guy, insecure girl, ex gf stalker, hot guy's best friend. It had all the necessary plot lines, crazy stalker, mistrust, infidelity, death, babies, organ transplant and happily ever after. If you like that kind of thing there are 7 more books in the series. For me it was so-so. I didn't really like the main character, Audrey, though I did want to get to the truth. I did enjoy the section about the heart transplant. It kept my [...]

    17. This was the first book I've read from this author. Great story, kept moving and only got redundant a little toward the end. I felt like the characters narrations were personal, as if they were speaking to me. The author has a great writing style, very smooth & flowing. Only one error caught my attention in the entire story, toward the last 15-20% of the book where Audrey & David are talking about Alex, and accidentally call him David. Intriguing story of love, faith, loyalty, and accept [...]

    18. I have thoroughly been enjoying this series. Sad to say, I read book #1 first, then this one (#5) because they were free off Kindle. I have now picked up the other 3 and can't wait to sit down and read. This story is about relationships and how they can affect one another. This story involves an ER nurse and a firefighterd family. Lessons learned include the importance of good, open communication between loved ones, and never never assume anything. I would encourage this series to anyone who jus [...]

    19. A fascinating bookI give a five star rating, this book was hard to put down. Once I started it I couldn't believe that it had everything I love, romance, the supernatural and the everyday ups and downs and don't forget the happy ending. I look forward to the next book hoping it is as good as this one was.Jenny Sanchez

    20. This is a wonderfully written book and Julianne MacLean does it every time with the books in this series. So much so that even the cover is breathtaking. I just can't wait till the next one comes out which is titled The Color of Love which releases in August 2014 but the best part is that you can pre-order it ahead of time.

    21. I really loved this book and couldn't put it down. I loved how the story was told and the twists and turns. It was not predictable and I loved every page. I would highly recommend this book and plan to read more from this author!

    22. MagicalReading Julianne books has honestly made me feel like there is alittle magic in this world. So far all of the books she written has been wonderful. Believe in the power of love, life, adventure.

    23. THE Color of a MemoryAnother good story by this author. I enjoyed reading this book about Alex and his legacy. There wasn't as much depth as in the first two books I. the series but still good reading.

    24. This book will show you the folly of jumping to conclusions! It was funny, thought provoking, sad, and joyous. It really reinforces the message of spending quality time with our loved ones, the minutes are slipping by. Enjoy every moment.

    25. I enjoyed this book. I gave it 3 stars because I liked it - I diid not think it was amazing for a 5 star rating. It was a fast read and enjoyable. Just when I thought it was predictable - it changed, which kept me reading. I would read the other books in the series.

    26. Another great storyI love this series of books. I look forward to reading each one. The characters continue to develop in each book. You can read the books individually but I was fortunate to read them in order and follow the continuing thread.

    27. As Julianne is one of my favorite contemporary authors, I still loved this story! However, I found some blaring typos: Alex's age when his father died, "Jesse" vs "Jessie"The list went on.However, it was a nice read! But this would have to be my least-favorite of the "Heaven" series.

    28. Another 5 star read in MacLean's "TCOH Series"This one was by far the quickest read in the series! I continue to love love love the way MacLean writeslooking forward to her final book in the series in August 2014!!

    29. Another awesome book in the Color of Heaven seriesI love this series! Every book is hard to put down. This one was no exception! I can't wait to read the next book in the series! Thank you Ms MacLean for sharing these stories.
