    1. I received a digital copy of this book free from the author and netgalley in exchange for an honest review. It took me a while to actually finish this book. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. Maybe this book doesn’t appeal much to me. The writing style of the author is hands on superb, but maybe it’s the plotline that didn’t entirely convince me to rate it higher.Rushed is a typical contemporary book that mainly centers on two college characters living in a sorority house. I have nothin [...]

    2. As I'm a British reader a lot of the sorority dialogue went right over my head. Alexis has been pressured by her parents to 'pledge'. When she meets one of the houseboys Zach and they have instant chemistry there is trouble ahead as if they were to date Alexis' parents would cut her off and they would both get thrown out of the sorority house.Alexis and Zach begin a secret relationship and to help keep it secret Alexis decides to create a decoy relationship with Dak the estranged friend of Zach [...]

    3. I was given this book for an honest review. I'm kind of torn with this book, so I am giving it 2.5 stars. Overall, I enjoyed the concept of the story. That was what drew me in was this forbidden love and the hold-your-breath-moments of the story: Are they going to get caught now? Will they make it to the end? Will Alexis defy her parents? These are all good aspect of the story that made it an easy read and drew me in. I also enjoyed the characters. I feel like they were written well and I could [...]

    4. Rush week – and the trials and tribulations of being a sorority pledge knows no bounds! NA genre with a spike of wicked and conniving brewed in with the kegs and hookups. I haven’t read one along these lines thus far, so it caught my attention. It’s a rather frivolous melodramatic romp full of angst and mean-spirited drama queens. Having had some experience with the rush agenda, I found this one a bit overwrought with exaggeration. Being a third generation legacy for the most elite sororit [...]

    5. This book is so totally infectious ,i was loving every minute of it from the beginning to end i didn't like so much that at the end everything went by like a roller coaster although its exhilarating and fun ,it goes by to fast.Zach was adorable although a little depressing, and that is very understandable given his circumstances, and that made him all the more adorable because you felt his pain ,and you just want to hug him and comfort him . I also loved the way he was with all the other girls in [...]

    6. Rushed was a enjoyable summer time read! I wasn't too familiar with Sororities or the process of rushing so reading this part of the story was interesting. The author was very descriptive throughout the story which I loved because it felt as if I were watching a chick flick! Alexis is your blonde sorority girl who we follow throughout the story as we gain a insight into her world while rushing. Zach is the houseboy who she is not supposed to date but cannot resist.I loved the characters of Zach [...]

    7. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. I almost DNF'd this book many times. I kept reading because I agreed to review the book. Funny that one of my least favorite things about this book was the depiction of sororities. I was a sorority girl in college and this book gives sororities a bad name. But that wasn't the real problem with this book. The problem with this book was the writing! The dialogue felt forced and for a book written in 2014 I couldn't get over the way these peop [...]

    8. It was a fun read. The concept of forbidden love and the excitement of being caught is always a pleasure to read.Zach was my go to character his actions were justified and motives true and I also liked Dakota though his intentions were questionable but I felt poor for the guy I wasn't a huge fan of Alexis . But she had her moments.Alexis is a pledge she had no doubt she would get into the sorority and Zach is the houseboyd they aren’t supposed to date but they cant seem to stay away from each [...]

    9. Posted on Les Romantiques - Le forum du siteReviewed by FabiolaReview Copy from the PublisherRushed is a New Adult novel by author Gina Robinson, who is new to me but has already written more than 10 novels. Rushed is a standalone but the story takes place on a campus the author has already used for one of her other trilogies featuring the same heroes: Reckless. As for Rushed, I think the author is going to write a sequel with some of the secondary characters.Gina Robinson writes historical, con [...]

    10. Originally posted on CassrissreviewsCopy received from Netgalley Review: Rushed follows Alexis and Zach in alternating duel perspective. Alexis is a college freshman who is forced into rushing the most popular and stuck up sorority on campus due to her status of the third generational legacy. Zach is the live-in houseboy for the girls, he treats the girls like sisters and is fiercely protective of them. Zach and Alexis feel a connection from the moment they first lock eyes, but they can't act on [...]

    11. 2.5 stars with an explanationOh the struggle I have with books like this. There are not many things in life I claim to be an expert about…the Yankees in the 90’s, Notre Dame Football since the Lou Holtz era (minus the Bob Davies years that I pretend didn’t exist), my personal likes and dislikes, and sorority life as I knew it. I will be the first to tell you, sororities are different campus to campus. The culture is different. The same sorority at two different schools could be complete po [...]

    12. I was provided with a copy of this book through netgalley in exchange for my honest review.I had a bit of a mixed bag reaction with this one, but in the end the pluses were enough to put this up to 4 stars without halving or rounding. The book started out with a lot of Greek phrases that were left with no explanationke Geed. I finally looked that one up. Or Rho Gamill don't know that one. It was a bit frustrating. It wasn't required necessarily, but it just kind of sucked that it was assumed I w [...]

    13. * 3 Stars *Rushed by Gina Robinson is the first book in her spinoff of the Reckless series.Rushed is a New Adult book. It starts out on Rush week at the college. It highlights the trials and tribulations of becoming a sorority pledge. We follow Alexis as she tries to select the sorority that has been a legacy in her family. She is under pressure and does not feel this is the right choice for her. But she can’t fight against the legacy her family has laid down before her. We will experience the [...]

    14. Rushed ReviewThis book is a great insight into how the Greek system at college campuses works. I was most impressed with the descriptions about rush than anything. Mainly because I have read books lately about rush and they are incorrect in my opinion on how rush actually works and I have seen rush at small and large universities. So great job there. The pace of the story was decent. When it started it was a little slow for me, but part of that came from the fact that I knew she would get in the [...]

    15. I received a complimentary e-copy of Rushed in exchange for an honest review. Zach is one of 4 houseboys at the Delta Delta Psi sorority house. His duties range from cooking, house maintenance, to protecting the sisters. He gets free room and board and also a small paycheck which he desperately needs since his parents have basically written him off for reasons he doesn't ever talk about to anyone. The most important rule for all the houseboys is that under no circumstances are they to be involve [...]

    16. Zach He winked at me. "We houseboys are more than beefcake you know."Zach is the yummy houseboy of a sorority. He's working there to pay his way through college. When he isn't being hot he is stressing about his horrible childhood or something. But it's better when he's being hot. Also, because he's hot he gets sexually harassed by some nasty sorority girl, Morgan. Don't worry, though Zach is able to resist Morgan and just mostly chill out and be hot. Oh Zach, so gorgeous! And he says sweet thin [...]

    17. 3 Stars! (spoiler free)more at aoibhreads/2014/06SummaryAlexis is a sorority legacy due to her mother, and physically she ticks all the boxes for what the leading house want in a pledge. But she feels she has nothing in common with any of the girls and would much rather go for a house that suits her personality One catch though, as long as her parents are funding her education, she must please them and this includes following in her mother's footsteps and getting into Delta Delta Psi. This soror [...]

    18. This is my first book by Gina Robinson and all I could think when I finished it was why Rushed couldn't be a series! I know I'm almost starting this review in reverse, but can i just say the 'stinger' at the end! Gina, Gina, Gina, how can you put something like that at the end of one of your books and not give us more?! Bad girl! (I know there was a warning not to read it, its like saying don't press the red button - we are going to do it!).Right that all being said did I liked Rushed, no I love [...]

    19. Loved it. Loved it. LOVED IT!.College: Sororities. Frats. Things will get wild. Totally crazy. But fun There was never a dull moment. I literally felt as if I were living the life of a sorority girl and having so much fun and making friends, and more than likely frienemies (ugh), but it is part of the college experience. I, myself, am a college student. I was able to really enjoy the events that occurred and I was more often then not, like-minded with the characters. It was so easy to sympathize [...]

    20. ***I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***Alexis is a freshman entering the Greek rush. She's a legacy for Delta Delta Psi. But she doesn't want it. Being a legacy means she'll get in no matter what. She just has to play the part. These girls are nothing like her. At her house interview, she spots Zach. The only reason she looks forward to joining the sorority.Zach needs this job. It provides a roof over his head. The girls are his sisters. Until he sees her. She's a t [...]

    21. Her parents always expected more for her. His parents never expected him to do much with himself. But together the two of them may just break the expectations set upon them and find real love. Alexis is a generational sorority girl. She's been groomed to join Delta Delta Psi, her mother's old sorority, and even though she doesn't feel like it is the house for her, Alexis knows it's what is expected of her. What isn't expected is for her to fall head over heels with the house boy. Especially when [...]

    22. This is the story of 2 young adults on a college campus and the ins and outs of sorority and fraternity life that make up a significant part of their college experience. Alexis is a wealthy beautiful young lady who is expected to pledge to the same sorority that her mother did, despite wishing to go her own way. Zach is a houseboy, working to pay for his college life at the same house where Alexis is accepted. There's a no fraternization rule between the sisters and the houseboys - but can these [...]

    23. **I received a copy in exchange for an honest review**The premise of this book sounded really exciting. There's nothing better than a forbidden romance so why is it that I thought this book fell flat?First of all this book was based entirely around the sorority house and practically every greek tradition was explained in detail. My fault, I should have realised that this would probably be the case based on the story line however I didn't think it'd go into so much boring detail. Then it came to [...]

    24. Wow this book was soooo.Ok it's been a very long time since I read a College book so freaking innocent and naive. Seriously. Like two students fall in love the minute they meet. Love at first sight. No mistakes bad boy coming to his senses. Nope just bameir eyes meet and they're in love. It was weird, I kept thinkingwow this is way to sweet.SPOILERS!!!!Anna meets Zach the day she rushes for her mothers sorority. Their eyes meet and she knows she had found the one. But Zach isn't allowed to consi [...]

    25. This was a little bit different than the other NA stories out there. Even though I currently live in the US, I'm originally from Europe so there are a lot things I don't know about college life in the US and especially Greek life. The big irony is that I actually am Greek, but we don't have that kind of thing in universities back home. I guess we actually live the Greek life and college is just for education. Sorry if i'm being a bit harsh but I just can't understand this whole Greek life concep [...]

    26. I didn't like this story. If it hadn't been for the fact that I agreed to review it I would've DNFed it.I found Alexis annoying and selfish. I get that she's attracted to Zach but even after she knows the consequences of them getting together she still doesn't understand why he won't risk it. I just didn't believe the connection between them. Yes they're attracted to each other but I didn't really find it believable that it went any deeper than that.I've never been in a sorority or known anyone [...]

    27. *I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*I am really on the fence about this book. On one hand I loved the characters, especially Alexis and Zach. I liked that there wasn't too much drama and no cliffhanger, but on the other hand the story felt to YA for me. If it weren't for the sex, it would be a great YA book. Now, this is just my opinion of course, but sometimes the way the characters acted and talked was too immature for my tastes. I know they are in college, but it [...]

    28. NA genre - Written in alternative POV from Alexis and Zach - Rush week – Third generation legacy sorority pledge - Double Deltsie - it's got angst and a mean-drama queen in the form of Alexis 'Big' Morgan that's been after Zach 'QB1' the live in house boy for a long time.Alexis has her work cut out for her but she knows what she wants and she will stop at nothing to get it. She's hot on Zach tail.Zach tries to stay away from Alexis but he saves her on a a few occasions when there paths cross w [...]

    29. ***I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***The premise of this book interested me because I have always wondered what it would be like to be a popular girl in a sorority. I feel that the author fulfilled my curiosity with her main character Alexis, who follows her mother's legacy dream for her to join the Delta Delta Psi sorority. The writing style was easy flowing and though there was a lot of explanation and inner-dialog at the beginning, I understand why it was there. [...]

    30. This was a pretty fast, easy read and I really enjoyed it. I think there could have been some things done differently in the book to make it a lot better and less predictable but it was overall a good read.I really liked Zach as a character. I liked his story and the reasoning behind him being a houseboy. I loved how he saw something different in Alex and finally let his guard down and let someone love him for who he is. Alex was ok for me. At the beginning I really liked her a lot because she d [...]
