    1. It's wonderful to see Rhonda Woodward writing again and she brings back her simple and light romantic style with White Roses and Starlight.Miss Marina Buckleigh is the eldest daughter of a baron and for being only nineteen has a nice head on her shoulders and takes everything in strive until she meets with a blond Adonis who takes her only a moonlight waltz . But everything stops when she runs face to face with Lord Fitzhugh Marquis of Cortland. It's been a awhile since I read where there's stro [...]

    2. The romance was vaguely reminiscent of Pride and Prejudice (although the hero was nothing like Darcy in temperament). The writing style was nice and clean (not overly descriptive or unnatural) and the author did a good job of imbuing the novel with a Regency feel.My one complaint (and the reason for the lower rating) was (view spoiler)[the heroine's infatuation for the blond-haired Adonis. 4. A charming story, but somewhat predictable. Ms. Woodward's love of the period shines throughout.
