    1. A quirky diversion. Cute, clever, and humorous with a nice dash of warmth and heart.Sometimes the timing was difficult to grasp, as well as the sense of place. I think it would probably be a tad easier of someone followed the blog it was based on. But all in all, definitely a pleasant easy read for a warm summer afternoon.

    2. Fun and heartwarming This is the first-“person” narrative of (and by) a cat named Max. It’s a quick read and put a smile on my face. We moved a lot when I was growing up and so does Max’s family so I could relate.

    3. F2f,,,Up aquaI'm not used to recording but this seems to be the easiest way for the most part I really really enjoyed the book bite me. It made me laugh out loud at the antics of Max it reminded me of the antics of my kitty The only bad thing I would say about the book is I thought the book was too long. The beginning of the book would make me laugh out loud and that's a wonderful feeling but as the book went on I just felt that space was being taken to fill up the book I would have enjoyed it b [...]

    4. If you ever wondered what a cat is thinking on a daily basis as he lives with humans, Max will tell you! This is his life story so far, all eleven years of it. This cat has made me laugh for years as I've read his blog and his other books, and this one is fantastic! Max reminds me so much of my old cat, Tigger, because their attitudes, "voices", and life philosophies are identical! (I'll need to see paperwork before I'm convinced Tigger isn't one of Max's ancestors.) Fun reading!

    5. What an uplifting fun book!!!What an uplifting fun book!!!I really enjoyed reading this book. As a cat lover, I have one of my own, plus three little dogs, I can feel and see where he's coming from. He telling his perspective on everything about his life, and how he views people,(humans) and other animals. And he does it in a tough, funny, sensible, and sensitive way. This book was touching, and very funny at times. I really liked it.

    6. Magnificent MaxSure,I'm a cat person but being a cat perso is more than liking cats Its understanding and being aware of personality. There is so much I recognize in Max's behavior and"catitude".Im going to recommend this to my sister, who loves dogs and my daughter in law whobloves all animals because the story is just that good. Will check out other books.

    7. Perfectly funnyPerfectly funnyreading from the cat's point of view, genius !! Max is one very cool dood. The explanation of the Rainbow Bridge was sweet and I loved this book.

    8. Funny and heart warmingAnyone who has ever been owned by a cat will like this book. Max Thompson is a snarky but philosophical cat who is king of his household. The book is frequently funny and it is interesting to see the world from a cat's point of view.

    9. Writing funny books is not easy. But it seems to come easy for Max Thompson. If you own cats, or just like cats, or if you are a cat, this book will leave you in stitches, as they say. This book is a Laugh-out-loud riot.

    10. Surprisingly sweet and insightfulFor a book written by a cat :) Nice job. At some point, Max's human might enlighten us on the frustration regarding the Air Force. Obviously a very good writer - would like to know more.

    13. LoveCuteCute book, written from cats perspective. I found it interesting, not cheesy at all. I love the dear Abby version but switched it to the cat.

    14. This is right in line with his other 2 books. A little more serious than the previous 2, and was a real heartwarmer in the end.
