    1. This is quite the series. Very well written and the depiction of Sherlock's mind, thought process, and language is quite excellent. On those facts it should get 4 or 5 stars, but I personally found myself torn over certain things that I didn't care for in the relationship dynamics and the fact that I felt all the parts should be chapters of one work rather than 8 separate parts, especially later on as they feel more and more like linked chronological chapters rather than individual vignettes.     2. Sherlock is sitting at home contemplating the champagne stain on the ceiling and his attraction to John Watson. His head is a mess, thoughts jumbles and jumping from one topic to the next. It's how I imagine Sherlock thinking. John shows up and Sherlock can't help himself, he is so obsessed with John, he kisses him. Enjoyed this a lot.

    3. The series is taking it own path with the the depiction of Sherlock's mind seen from the inside. For me it is a bit out of character – it makes him a weaker and a victim. That said, the series is well written, well above the common level in fanfic.
