    1. Review posted: Happily Ever After - ReadsBlog rating: DThe Colters’ series comes to a close with Lauren’s story, the sister of Max who’s married to Callie (Colters’ Daughter). Lauren was in an abusive relationship with a very dangerous man, Joel Knight, who runs a prostitution ring with some very high profile clients. Lauren was able to escape and Max hired two men, Liam and Noah, to watch out for her. Lauren moved to be closer to Max and the Colter family and she’s trying to rebuild h [...]

    2. 2.5 StarsThe storyline was too repetitive and slow. I didn't realize I skipped a book. I'm not sure I will go back since it seems like the previous book to this one is like an epilogue of the previous books.Colter's Gift is a standalone and you don't need to read the prior books. This one is a MMF.I was also disappointed in the lack of steam. For a smutty read, I wouldn't think it would have only two steamy scenes!Maya Banks books are always hit or miss with me, but I'm glad I finished the serie [...]

    3. Colters' Gift is the completion of the Colters' Legacy series and, well it's time. The books have become weaker as the series progressed. Here the insta-love was so instant that it made my head spin. There was zero explanation of why these characters cared about one another as they supposedly did. But all of a sudden there are declarations of love, talk of forever and future children. I tried to go with it as much as possible but the fanatical devotion (and possessiveness) Liam and Noah had for [...]

    4. I've really enjoyed the Colters' series and I am sad to see them go, but I understand why Banks must move on. I enjoyed being able to revisit with all the characters, and I just love that they are such a loving and accepting family with their new additions of Lauren, Noah, and Liam. This story was definitely heartwarming, and a very nice closing to the series.

    5. Colters’ Woman was the first Maya Banks books I read. I instantly fell in love with Adam, Ethan, and Ryan. I was so happy when Maya decided to expand the world of Clyde, Colorado and give us Colters’ Lady, Colters’ Daughter and Colters’ Promise. It was bittersweet to read Colters’ Gift and have to close the door on all these characters who feel like family. As the story opens we see Lauren, months after the terrible ordeal with her ex, finally settling into the small Colorado mountain [...]

    6. Lauren Wilder has been basically hiding out in the Colorado Mountains. Her brother Max is married to Callie Colter and once you are involved in any family way with the Colters, you become family. Lauren had it bad when she was in New York. Her boyfriend was a cruel and sadistic SOB who was also a glorified pimp who ran a prostitution ring. Lauren was often on the wrong side of Joel Knight's fist and the last time she barely got away alive. Two investigators were hired by her very wealthy brother [...]

    7. ***Small Review***I seem to be hating on my beloved book series because once again, I was not “wowed” by a book that I had such high hopes for. COLTERS’ GIFT was good, don’t get me wrong, but there was nothingnewto it. It felt like all the rest of the books, but with three new characters. I love them though, just not in the 5 star way. Anyway, Lauren finally gets her story and I must say, she took a lot of abuse. Although Banks skimped the big parts, it reminded me of P.J. from SHADES OF [...]

    8. Now that I have finished the series, I have to write something about it Ok I got all the books for free, but I don't understand how someone would pay for these books? These are so childish! If it's not for excessive and needless adult content you could read to a child!Three men fall in love with one woman, they marry her, adore her, and practically breath her, then they have three sons and a daughter, 33 years later their three sons fall in love with one woman and they marry her, and cherish her [...]

    9. Piper‘s review posted on Guilty Pleasures Book ReviewsReview copy provided for an honest review3 STARSFirst, let me start off by saying that Colters’ Woman is one of my favorite books. I have read that book countless times. I fell head over heels in love with Adam, Ethan, Ryan and Holly. I have enjoyed reading about the Colters’ in this series. Colters’ Gift is the last book in the Colters’ Legacy Series. I was looking forward to this book, and I am sad to say that it did not live up t [...]

    10. To read my full review:()I have this feeling that the author wanted to bury this series once and for all. The kind of love/hate an author may have toward a series when the author wants to end it but the fans keep begging for more but the author is ready to move on to some other stories and characters. It is sad in a way because the series did not end the way I wanted it to end. It was rushed or something was missing. But I will get to that.First, the book is split in two parts: Lauren’s story [...]

    11. Colters’ Gift is the fifth and final book in the Colters’ Legacy series. I discovered the series shortly after the first book, Colters’ Woman, was released and fell in love. I think it may have been my first menage book and I have been reading them ever since. In my opinion, Maya Banks writes some of the best menages. Her men are so loving and so determined to take care of the woman they love.Colters’ Gift is no exception. Liam and Noah have been friends since childhood and business part [...]

    12. In Colters' Gift, Lauren, a Colter by her brother's marriage, has resettled after escaping an abusive relationship. She loves her new family and the town of Clyde, Colorado. Her plan to forget her past and move on is upset when Liam and Prescott show up at her door. The two men had been hired by Lauren's brother to protect her before she moved to Clyde. They've been unsuccessfully hunting the man who hurt Lauren and they need her to fill them in on the facts. And, they both have a thing for Laur [...]

    13. Book #5 in the Colters' Legacy seriesLauren Wilder was abused by the man she was previously involved in & has moved to Colorado after her brother, Max rescued her from the abusive relationship.Liam & Noah were hired by Max to watch over Lauren & have been trying to track down the man responsible for hurting her, but are having a difficult time because Lauren wasn't honest about who the man is. They catch a break when they find one of his "girls" and head to Colorado for more informat [...]

    14. Source: eARC for Honest Review via Penguin Group USA | Berkley | NALThere is just something about those Colter Men. For Lauren she is surrounded by the love and adoration of the Colter Men and wishes she too could have that kind of love. Lauren is made some shitty decisions in her life which caused her a world of trouble. After this, two hotties Liam and Noah have taken responsibility to take care of Lauren. Liam and Noah are best friends and are after the same woman. This could cause conflict u [...]

    15. (Sep) So, here we are, finally, the end of the Colter series. Colter's Woman was one of my first (or maybe my first?) permanent menage book. The story of 3 brothers who fell in love with one woman was so not-to-be-beleived, but Maya Banks writs so earnestly, you want to beleive families like this exist out in the open (and away from Utah) and can have a lovely HEA. The series continues as the 3 Colter sons follow in their family's footsteps and also marry a single woman to share among the 3 of t [...]

    16. I won this book in a contest. Colters' Gift is rather saccharine, and many parts were not very logical or realistic. Some of the crime procedural parts and medical parts would not have happened the way they were laid out, but it did make the story easier, I guess. -/ with he sex, segments of the story appeared too smooth and without issue to be believable. I really had to work to suspend my disbelief multiple times in this book. The concept that two guys with no history of sharing would out of t [...]

    17. The Colters’ series comes to a close with Lauren’s story, the sister of Max Wilder who's involved with the Coulter's daughter. Lauren was in an abusive relationship who escapes and then is guarded by Liam and Noah. There is no back story until TA DA they actually really liked her. Lauren has since moved to live with Max her brother and his wife who are helping her out of her shell and surrounding her with a family she didn't have. Now fast forward and Noah and Liam are ready to come for Laur [...]

    18. Well thank goodness this series is finally over! See it started out great! I loved Holly and the dads story, it was by far my favorite book in this series. Lily's book was okay, as was Callie's. This book, however, gave me a damn toothache with its sweetness! Okay we get you all are family, you protect each other, you love each other, you have each others' backs! Must you repeat the same damn thing throughout the book, it got so tiring! Ughhhhh!!!Many readers complained about the graphic violenc [...]

    19. Oh, insta-love, how I loathe you. It's very hard to do insta-love well (it can be done!), but usually it just pushes me right out of the story. Granted, they only said it was attraction at first, but the depth of their desire to protect her was over the top, and her ease at accepting them was eye-brow raising considering her history. Also, the gentle, sweet, kind, "badass" gentlemen just annoyed me to no end. They were just so idealized "perfect" and their constant perfect tenderness made my ski [...]

    20. The novella at the end of the book is the only thing that kept this from being a one star book. Too much of the focus of the book is on Lauren's situation with her ex, Joel Knight. I like a suspenseful book where the heroine has some peril before the HEA, but the violence in this book towards Lauren went to a level that was disturbing. It's rare I have to skim-read pages, but I did in this book because it was just too hard to read. The HEA is hard to swallow because I kept thinking how can she h [...]

    21. I love this series and I'm very sad to see it end. The first Maya Banks book I read was Colter's Woman and I couldn't get enough of her books. I feel that this is a good ending and I loved the characters. Lauren Wilder is Max's Wilder's sister she was severely abused by her boyfriend and Max hired Liam and Noah to protect her and find the man that hurt her. When question about the boyfriend she lies about his identity to protect Max and the two men she has come to care about. When Liam and Noah [...]

    22. I win a signed paperback of this book and I couldn't be more thankful. :) I pretty much enjoyed Colters' Legacy series. Even though the idea of brothers sharing a woman is a bit odd and scary, but Maya Banks nailed it. I loved Holly's, Lilly's and Callie's story. But Lauren's, I don't think this one's my favorite. Sure the storyline's typical Maya Banks—which is no problem at all because I love it just the way it is, abundant with alpha-male and coated with heavy angst. But, I think Maya Banks [...]

    23. Always nice to see what's going on in the lives of the Colters. That's one of the reasons for the 4 stars instead of the 3 the story would have gotten. The other is because I really like Lauren and was glad to see how strong she turned out to be, especially after all she had been through. The reason the story itself only merited 3 stars is because the romance part with the multiple partners was too much like the ones the preceded it. I kept thinking well maybe the guys will be secretly in love wi [...]

    24. I enjoyed this erotic romance with its tragic premise but it could have had more action. I did like the whole sense of family and the heroes dedication was endearing. However, there were times when it seemed like everything was fitting together too smoothly. Liam and Noah were hired as Lauren's bodyguards and they were all attracted to each other.

    25. This 5th book's story line was okay. I liked the hot & steamy scenes. I felt sorry Lauren. I thought Lauren was strong for what she went through. I really liked how Liam & Noah protected Lauren. Joel got what he deserved. I was very happy for Lily. I really liked the ending.
