    1. Like an Episode of Twighlight ZoneOne of my favorite television programs of all time was the original "Twilight Zone." I date myself but modern television viewers should catch the classic on “marathon” days to understand what you missed. While reading Kathleen Patel’s short story I almost heard Rod Serling’s voice say, “When two beautiful young girls are offered a luxury vacation, they didn’t know that…” Even now I hear the theme song in my head. I originally read this story a mo [...]

    2. I downloaded this book as a freebe on Kindle and read it as soon as I finished the book I was reading. It is an intriguing little piece that lets you waiting for what happens next. The story doesn't have a sense of closure and I kept waiting for a big climax as the prologue promised. It sounds like a prequel to a big story because it lets lots of details out.I would love to know more about the two cousins and their relationship and also how they get away from that ending. I won't spoil it though [...]

    3. I was allowed to read the edited and expanded version of The Dolls and I was impressed. Patel has shown that she is dedicated to her craft and wants to only become a better writer. I am happy to say that she has improve a hundredfold. I am very impressed to see she had her story edited and expanded to make a more detailed story. The ending is far more satisfying than the previous version. I can now recommend this to lover's of horror and paranormal stories. This is a great short.

    5. This was an okay read for me as it did seem rather childish in many ways, although the warnings about on-line 'real life' meetings are sound. It did seem somewhat rushed but the characters were interesting.

    6. This starts out a little strange, takes off and gets you interested, then. It's like at the end the writer was in a hurry to end it because of something better to do, so just ended it in a hurry and you're left wondering, what the ???
