    1. Sweet story with unusual premise.Glad I stayed with it.Narrator was Stevie Zimmerman. She was flat until later in the story. Then I enjoyed her.

    2. **Updated 03/28/13**In this Regency period novella, Lady Tempest finds herself on display, standing alone by the fountain in the park, under the scrutiny of several strange gentlemen. Enter Lord Fool, as one of these fellows has the temerity to approach her under guise of returning a dropped handkerchief, so that he might warn her that her step-father intends to auction off her honor dear, so to speak. She knows she must escape the dastardly villain's clutches. The story is short and would benefi [...]

    3. Quick Regency ReadThis is a hard review to write. Lord Fool to the rescue was a clean read.but yet the entire story is based on "Lady Aphrodite". the Duke refers to her as, being saved from her horrible, evil, stepfather. He has definite evil and disgusting intentions laid out for her futured the Duke ,or Lord Fool, as he is known, is off to rescue her. Because of the "theme" of the book I would definitely say it's an adult read even though there were no "scenes". There was a surprising amount o [...]

    4. I am impressed with the changes in the newly updated version of this book (3/29/13). The author has done a wonderful job of revising. The tale flows much smoother, and the additions make it much more fleshed out. The ending is superior to last version by far and you leave the ending with a smile. Well done! All read

    5. Very short story, was done in a couple of hours but it was rather sweet and funny. I enjoyed it!April 25, 2013: I got an update on this story and just read it today. Absolutely great improvement on the ending.

    6. Lord Fool is really Leland Wescott, the Duke of Stromburg. Young though he is, he is a decorated war hero, having saved many of his men from being burned to death in a building fire. Unfortunately, he did so by holding them at gunpoint so that they could not run foolishly into the conflagration to try and save mates who were already beyond help. The military may have thought he saved a significant number of lives, but the peerage thought his actions dishonorable. Dubbed “Lord Fool” behind hi [...]

    7. I have been thinking about what to say for a few days. It was fun, and an easy read but I did find the ending a little abrupt and slightly unconvincing. The characters were amusing, and for once the female main character did not need much help extracting herself from her predicament. It would be nice to learn why Lord Fool is known as Lord Fool but he was entertaining enough and the villain, of course, got his comeuppence in an amusing way.I would have liked more, the story was very short and I [...]

    8. This starts of with the short novella 'Lord Fool' then an excerpt of Blood for Ink (The Scarlet Plumiere Series) and Somewhere Over the Freaking Rainbow (A Paranormal Thriller), The Secrets of Somerled and Going Back for Romeo (Highlander Time Travel Romance). So this is more or less a really extensive marketing tool for the authors books. It gives a fair indication of the quality of writing and various concepts in differnt genre. The Blood for Ink excerpt was quite amusing for instance. The novel [...]

    9. The book is missing a middle, clarity, a love story and a setting structure to care the short story. The premise is cool. Yet; I still don't know why he is called Lord Fool, by her or by himself or why she refers to herself as Lady Fool only at one point, nor do u know what's going on with the prince, why the step father is evil. And if one does happen to piece it together one does not feel the emotion. The story needs to fleshed out. It needs to have a point when she falls in love. I get him fa [...]

    10. A really badly written riff on the damsel in distress trope. The dialogue is atrocious. I knew I was in trouble when the hero called the heroine "honey". The story itself only takes up about one-third of the book -- the rest are excerpts from other books. I was so disgusted, I didn't try them. Deleted this from my library.

    11. Just like the 4 star person said, this story makes no sense and is missing everything possible you need to have in a story. It jumped around, the characters and characterizations were unclear, the plot was basically missing. Although the premise is great, that doesn't make up for everything else.Skip this - even if it's free.

    12. This wasn't your typical romance at all. From the very beginning, Tempest has to deal with the most vile of stepfathers, a host of less than savory men, an auction with disastrous results, and a white knight in less than shining armor. It was a sweet romance with a good dollop of humor. I would read more from this author.

    13. It was so, so hard for me to get past the atrocious dialogue when, two pages in, the hero switched from calling the heroine "my lady" to "honey." Nope. No. The premise was fine - damsel in distress - but everything else fell short. This story was in need of better development, construction, and execution. Don't bother.

    14. This wasry disappointing, to say the least. When I downloaded it, my iphone said there were 347 pages. To find that the story stopped on page 183? Sigh. Not a fan. The plot was incredibly rushed and without much "meat." I wouldn't read this again.

    15. I was confused by this novella. I did enjoy some aspects of the story, despite the fact it seems unfinished. It contains some anachronisms and lacks context and continuity. I assume it serves as a hook, leading us to the author's other books.

    16. I enjoyed this story. The characters were engaging and the plot was solid and more importantly, interesting. I wish this book had been longer, I would have liked to read more about these characters.

    17. GoodWish it was a little bit longer. Good story line. Just need more adventure. I like reading novels by LL Muir

    18. Typical, but sweet! I'm a little unclear as to why the hero is called 'Lord Fool', but that's my only issue with this! I found it a very enjoyable read.

    19. Hilarious, Romantic readThis story was funny, romantic and well-written. You will smile as the pages fly by! L.L. Muir is sure to be a new favorite author once you try her!

    20. I will admit to being lost for most of this book. The story itself is interesting and would have better if longer and more detailed regarding the background.

    21. This was a tough book for me to review. I was not sure if it was humorous or heavy drama. At times, I thought it was a 2 and other times thought it deserved a 5 rating.
