    1. There's some really good info about the early days of the Industrial Workers of the World in Oklahoma. But the author frequently has trouble seeing the forest from the trees. There are so many organizations, people, and events that it is extremely difficult to keep them all straight. Meanwhile, big events, like the Green Corn Rebellion, are briefly mentioned and then passed over. No charts or pictures. Little mention of who opponents are, or their motivations.     2. A kind of somewhat interesting view of Oklahoma of the era of labor from WWI to WWII. I especially liked to learn about the horrendous conditions of the farmworkers in this period.
